News Round Up 2020

I saw it earlier too. It's buy 2 get 2 for a total of 4 days. Good for some but I'd imagine too many days for a lot of people.

True but if I know I am going for 2 park days it's nice to have the option to enter the parks on other days without having to pay additional cost!

It also happens to be the promotion that Universal Orlando was already offering before the COVID-19 shutdown. (I was planning a trip then. I noticed it.) It's not a new attempt to attract customers; it's just the continuation of the old attempt.

I would just assume they aren't as worried about appearing to attract customers during a pandemic as much as Disney is.
Or they wouldn't be scrutinized as much.
Or Disney feels that they are at the capacity they want to be at right now.

Who knows! I just thought it was interesting.

I agree that there is a difference between how Universal and Disney are treating things. Universal seems to be going for business as usual, or as close to it as we can get. Disney isn't.

can we mention the fact that robert zemeckis and tom hanks reuniting for pinocchio hanks will play gepetto how ever i do feel they should get someone with italian heritage to play him like de niro

honestly disney plus is becoming the place where disney dumps bad films or films they know wouldnt make money

You thought they would debut blockbusters there?

No but remaking more crap just for D+ isn't what most of us expected either. I enjoyed the original and I like Zac Efron, but as with most remakes, it doesn't need to be done.

And we don't need to get into that whole argument again but if they're (hollywoood not just dis) going to redo stuff could it at least be decent stuff? Or like Bill & Ted or the top gun sequel, same people almost makes sense to do them again and nostalgia almost makes it not a total money grab.

I know lots of stuff used to get redone, showboat, a star is born and others. But we also have yo remember that back then unless the movie was in the theatre you didn't get the chance to see it. Now I can watch any or all of the versions of a movie in one day if I want to. That's why I find it tired, boring and unnecessary especially for all these 80s movies.
