Hi!! Does anyone know if the hot tubs are open?
We stayed at Swan over NYE and the pools/hot tubs were all open and operational. We never used the hot tubs because there were always large families that had taken over them each time we walked by, but the pool was large enough that people could easily spread out; despite pretty much every chair around the pool being in use.

so - considering booking the Swan and it looks like there is a $39 resort fee... is that for parking or is parking additional? I'll be driving down.

The daily resort fee does not include parking. I believe it's gone up to $35/night now, but I'm not totally sure, as when we stayed there over NYE it was only $30/night. I believe self parking costs $29/night and valet costs $39/night.

I'm going to the Swan in May, where I have stayed many times. I know the buses are now Mears. Can you tell me where they drop you off at each park, and most important, do they run early enough to get to the par

They are supposed to start running 45 minutes before scheduled park opening; DS buses start 15 minutes before scheduled opening.

Drop-off locations:

AK - 3/4
MK - C3/C4 at TTC
DS - 1/2

A friend of mine is staying at the Swan right now, and I suggested that she take the Yacht Club or Boardwalk bus to a theme park. However, she said signs appeared at the resort bus stops today - saying the Disney buses were for guests only.
🤔🤔 They are on to my plan I see... (as if it was a secret plan, lol)

Any recent DPs of this being anything more than a scare tactic?

Maybe I'm just oblivious, but we stayed at Swan 12/31-1/3 (the same time as that original post) and we saw nothing of that nature. We did take the Swan bus to the TTC once, but every time we went to Disney Springs (and even once to MK), we walked to BoardWalk to grab the bus. We saw no signs saying the buses were for resort guests only and nobody questioned us about taking those buses or if we were actually staying at BoardWalk. Additionally, we weren't wearing MBs either, so who knows.

I plan to be equally oblivious!

I’ve stayed at Dolphin and Beach Club and never experienced or witnessed any issues with folks riding buses from other resorts. Heck, I’ve parked at both Poly and Contemporary in the past for dining/shopping and taken the monorail to the other deluxes to do the same. If there was going to be any enforcement of riding, I’d think it would be there.

going to be at the Swan on 1/25 - 1/29. so excited. I don't usually go in the winter. I know the pools are heated BUT is it really warm enough to go for a swim???

ps. I plan on taking the boardwalk or YC bus to the MK when we're there. I'll report back if there are issues. I can't imagine. You can take a bus to any resort and have dinner and then get back on the bus .... I don't think it should be a problem.
