If there is one forum member that I would vote for to resume the role of moderator, I know where I would cast it. He has the uncanny ability to engage in conversation and pose challenging thoughts/questions without being condescending in the slightest. He also is incredibly articulate and knowledgeable on many facets of Disney.

He knows when to move on when a conversation doesn't add anymore value and can only drift into deep negativity. He is not afraid to share shortcomings in knowledge and often uses empathy as a way to connect with posters.

I get it that this member may not want to be a moderator and that this isn't a proxy voting position, but he gets my vote hands down.

That thread was a great distraction throughout this past almost year. As far as pandemic issues go Disney is obviously minor, but it was nice having a place to speculate, commiserate, and just hang out while we watched this unfold together. No doubt in my mind being amongst like minded people made it a little bit easier to let go of a much anticipated trip. We might all have gotten a little uh, “spirited” at times with one another, but I’ll miss visiting this thread near daily and feeling like I’m catching up with each one of you.

Count me in as another who is not likely to be around much without this sub forum as it was and the Covid thread. Thanks for the chats, guys!

It seems almost cruel to take away something, for no good reason, that has gotten a lot of the DIS members through a very long and hard year.

It's frankly flat out disrespectful to dismantle Ryan's work and to dismantle this community.

I am getting more and more frustrated with the webmasters, they can't even admit their boards have bugs they haven't even acknowledged they are aware of let alone try to fix.

I have several people I would support as mod but the fact is while the Disboards makes money, they don't pay mods and there is no question all the mods work essentially part time jobs. So I frankly love all the great posters too much to wish free labor on them.

Ugh. I hate life, everything is getting taking away and I can't take anymore.
