Honestly. I’m glad this kind of “settles” the speculation for Florida
She's getting all dressed up and looking pretty for the 50th. Love the look.
OMG! He totally doesIs it just me or does Rupert Friend look like Orlando Bloom trying to steal work from Johnny Depp?
This is so frustrating and I will try not to get into the political aspect of vaccines or mandating them, but I am not thrilled with banning businesses from being able to require vaccination proof. To me, I would prefer (feasible or not) Disney (or universal, cruises, etc) to mandate vaccine proof or recent negative tests until my kids are able to get safely vaccinated. It’s the next step in cutting the legs off of a return to normalcy.
I agree on many fronts. First, there is no point debating any of this here (or anywhere really) as it really is pointless. Second, I too find it frustrating. After many canceled Disney trips, I so am hoping that my family can go in August. I anticipate that my wife and I will be vaccinated by then, but our three kids (11, 8, 7) will not be.
What I do find kind of ironic about this story is that the FLA governor doesn’t want government to allow or support vaccine passports because it infringes on an individual’s rights. However, he is perfectly fine with forbidding a privately owned business from making their own choice on requiring a vaccine passport. Seems circular to me.
I JUST WANT TO GO TO DISNEY WORLD LIKE IT’S 2019!!!!
You should go to Disney. Your kids actually have a 99.97% survival rate if they contract Covid. They have a much higher risk of severe disease or death from the flu. If the adults in your party are vaccinated, there should be no hesitation. However, this is your personal choice. Others should not be forced into vaccines if they do not want one.
I’m torn... I love my magic bands, but if this doesn’t drain my watch battery, it would be nice to use that. I have no desire to use my phone though. I very rarely keep it out now and the battery dies quickly.
