Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I’ve been at the CR CL for 4 nights now. This is our first CL stay in a number of years and I booked last year specifically to be near all the action for the 50th. Our stay has been…fine. I expected a little more magic but got exactly what was promised. An atrium room with access to the club. I do love the new room decor.
I’ll echo some of the other posts already here. No early opening for October 1 was disappointing. The next morning was a mess with half the tables dirty, most food gone, and not a single CM around to give an update. I like the grab and go snacks in the afternoon but wish there was more variety.
The far right elevator does not recognize access to 12 and 14 even for CMs. They are aware of this but had no timeline for a fix.
We got back to our room from breakfast at Steakhouse 71 around 9am and the construction noise was unbearable. I used the QR code to let them know about my problem and within 50 mins had a call from the front desk with what I thought was a fair offer to compensate us.
Overall I’m not in a rush to stay CL here again and happy with my basic tower room in a few weeks for D23 at less than half the price I paid for this weekend.
I was able to grab coffee at 6:20 am. They were setting up already.

I got lucky I didn't have any noise but i was on TPV side all the way on the end closest to MK.

I loved the bath, loved the sofa and liked having carpet under feet. I didn't love the window framing lol. Seemed cheap.

Best part was the lighting. WOW people can't complain its too dark there!!!

Thx for the review!

After seeing your photos I definitely realize you were there the first afternoon we checked in.

I definitely realize I saw you in the lounge after looking at the photos you took on the first day.

The elevators are already slow enough. They need to get that issue fixed up.
I was the one lady usually standing next to her table with her family and even joined in sometimes! Next time say hey!

We’re only a few in on the BLV side. Whatever was going on this morning made the floor vibrate. It basically forced us to get out to DHS an hour earlier than we were planning.

Agree on the bathroom and lighting.
There’s a slight til on the floor right near the slider. Assuming the flooring and carpet used to be taller and they just didn’t compensate for that?

Nope it was like that before. DD’s fiancé noticed it too. However felt same to me after a few previous stays.

CR has always had that flooring tilt up against the balcony door (I’m assuming there’s some construction rationale for it that someone smarter than me can explain), but it’s definitely more noticeable with the hard flooring now. Before the carpet hid/absorbed a lot of that little transition and you might not ever feel it unless you stepped right on it.

Random aside, we had a CR 12th floor room once that had a “soft spot” in the floor in front of one of the beds that was so soft it made me nervous. Definitely not a normal feeling in a high rise building floor! Hopefully that’s gone with the renovation. :-)

You have to look for people who are taking food and lounge pictures and then sneak up on them and whisper, '...are you on...Disboards.....?'

Stay away from the GoPro people those are bloggers with 1,000 view youTube videos.

Anyone know if there is time to eat breakfast before the parks early opening? Do they adjust the club opening time? Trying to see how to get to MK for early entry at a decent time from BWI
Coffee was out at 6;30. They are setting up for 7am at that time but it takes a while to get it all out. So no guarantees what you want ready early.
I‘ve always thought it’s strange how breakfast isn’t available until 7 (and coffee not until 6:30). That’s late to me! I’ve love to see coffee at 5:30 and breakfast starting at 6. I usually bring a few extra things back to our room for the following morning when I wake up early and have to wait for breakfast!

That would mean a lot of extra staffing. People in the kitchen, the managers in suits that say hello and goodbye to you, and all the servers. Like 500 man hours if you open 2 hours earlier at each CL lounge.

jk

On Disney time if they open parks early they should at least have packaged breakfast items and fruit available to grab and go so that you can use of the service that you purchased. Otherwise why would people buy CL? Just my opinion but this is my first time CL.

In Disneyland I died. The 7am start was 10am eastern time. I needed coffee badly! I had to settle with a keurig.

I can understand Disney's view though: many people cannot make snacks or happy hour or dessert hour for whatever reasons. They are lenient about taking items out of the lounge so that makes up for it. They did leave the refrigerated case open all night at CR so you could get a soda or milk or juice (no alcohol because of kids present). They do not refill during the night though.

Not sure if I posted this but my family used the FL Blue pass when they were at Epcot. It was really hot and they just wanted a place to cool off. One pass gets family in, no need to be a FL resident or member. https://www.floridablue.com/magic Enter your email and they send pass to show on your phone.
I downloaded but didnt need it. It was nice to have that free option.

My wife and I are currently staying CR Tower Club and I wanted to share some info. After arriving this morning, we were checked in immediately and visited the lounge. We chatted with CMs until our room was ready.

We are happy to say, most of the CMs we’ve known over the years are back. The lounge has been renovated with new furniture, paint, and cabinetry. Just like Atrium Club, all food is from California Grill. All the Bay Lake rooms are currently being renovated, including the VP. The rooms have a more understated Incredibles theming than the lower floors (which my wife and I are happy about since we hated the preview of the new CR rooms). The color scheme on 14 is a bit different than 12. We were told the theming is unique in each room on 14.

Were there any tables? It is not like you can eat in your room on the 14th with minimal furniture. We are going on the 31st and I am hoping to be able to utilize the lounge. Thanks!

You can click through the little arrow in OP’s post to see other pics of the lounge. The tables are along the wall to the left when you enter the lounge. Enjoy your Tower Club stay!

You have the tables against the wall as usual. They also took away the CM desk and have an 8 person table in that spot. In our room we also have a small table and 2 chairs, which our room as always had (but our room has a max occupancy of 2). Tower tends not to see nearly as many large family groups, so they don’t need nearly as much lounge seating. Most of the rooms are suites, so several rooms have dining room tables.

I don’t like that they took away the CM desk right outside the elevator, which they did on atrium as well. They have no dedicated space. Their idea of making them mobile is fine, but charging mobile devices is still an issue. It also doesn’t give guests and CMs a place to sit when they are having to look into something.

Yeah, I've been meaning to post about this too. It's obviously a trend someone came up with since it's slowly making its way around the CLs, but it's a little different for sure.

For example, one time I saw guests using the 8-top to sit for evening apps. Since it's not a 'dedicated' CM station that seems to be OK/allowed, I guess. Anyone coming to check-in right then would be doing it standing up with a CM.

95% of my interactions with CL desk CMs are quick and would be fine in a more mobile location, but occasionally you may have something you need to ask about/deal with where you may prefer a more discreet location or something that takes time - the separate/dedicated CM desks worked better for those types of matters than mobile CMs.

I think for me the jury is still out.

As to you other post, I agree it was wonderful to see several familiar CM faces from prior CR stays!

Thank you - I missed those other pictures. Most helpful. Looks clean. We have stayed up on this floor about 3 or 4 times and I was pleased they started offering it online to book. I like that there are mostly suites so less guests which is why I targeted this floor for this visit during this time. It is my daughters favorite hotel since she was 10 and she is now 45 lol. I prefer the RPC since I like the spaciousness of their lounge although the elevators leave alot to be desired. Either way you can't lose! Thank you again for such great pictures and information.
