***Official September 2022 Thread***

Happy and sad to see all of these posts about people leaving on their trips. Happy our month is finally here but sad that it is all almost over (I get this way every trip right before we leave - already start thinking about it all being done).
Same here! I really need to stop doing that though...

At AK today and crowds are low again. 20 minutes for Navi and Flight of passage according to the app. We’re relaxing in Nomad Lounge but will see if those times are accurate in a few minutes. Another late start for us since we didn’t get to bed until after 1am after the party last night. My dad also isn’t feeling great. Migraine yesterday and still not feeling great today unfortunately. 😔
Cool about the low waits! I was hoping to do Navi but not necessarily expecting it since I'm not getting Genie+ for AK, but 20 minutes would be awesome!

I hope your dad feels better soon!!!

Just a little weather pop in update...

The red one could be listed as a depression soon, but probably won't go beyond that. If it does, it isn't a threat to us at all or to land in general. The others in orange are still only expected to get into the depression range, not tropical storm and conditions continue to be not conducive to a strong storm formation. I would say right now for the next week at least we're still in the clear.

@Dentam I'm glad to hear that the crowds seem to be low. I hope that carries on for a few more weeks. I'll be interested to hear how the weekend is. What's the weather been like? The heat could definitely bring on a migraine. Same for if he's a bit dehydrated.

We ended up waiting about 5 minutes for Flight of Passage and now on line for Navi with posted wait time of 20 minutes. I think lines were longer this morning before we got here from what I saw on the app. Ppl tend to go straight to Pandora first I think.

Thanks! Hoping he starts to feel better soon also. Moonlight Magic tonight but looks like it might be stormy all night. We’ll see how it goes!

The heat hasn’t been too bad. He’s actually been commenting that the sun feels good so I think maybe he has a bit of a bug. Stomach a little unhappy and muscle pain. No fever or any other symptoms and often migraines can make me feel bad in other ways so it’s hard to say. He just went back to the room to lay down for awhile and I’m eating at Satuli Canteen. Pretty quiet in here!

Migraine are definitely terrible, I get them myself. They're a lot better than the used to be and I no longer need prescription medication. I usually can get past them pretty fast with Excedrin, and either caffeine or a gatorade.

Checked our flights today…on way down they changed plane which adjusted our seat assignments and now me, DS8 and DS10 are split up. When we booked in April the 3 of us were together and now 2 together and 1 alone. >:(

For return flight we had a 90 minute layover that has changed to 20 minutes which is incredibly tight!

I’m a bit worried. I picture a lot of time on hold in my future to get seat assignments sorted out. And then lots of panic for our return home trying to catch our connection.

Oh and we are now right in front of the bathroom too! We did not pick that row in April. Not cool.

Oh no! That is terrible. I hope you can get it all sorted out because a 20 minute layover is nearly impossible.

Forecast shows 58% chance of rain/ scattered thunderstorms, but it's showing that for all of Florida
That's the typical 'September' forecast for Florida. It WILL rain, but when/how long is the question for each day. Most of the time it's a half hour splurge.

Only thing of concern is hurricanes. If that's clear, then days should be fine for the trip.

Ok, after all the trouble getting ADRs earlier this week, I have finally managed to adjust everything to times we want! So our schedule is now finalized (I think...)

Here's the final draft:
Sept 23rd - Arrive (fingers and toes crossed our flights are on time!), Epcot F&W booths for lunch and dinner.
Sept 24th - Epcot in the morning, F&W booths for lunch. Midday pool break, then HS in the evening, Docking Bay 7 for dinner.
Sept 25th - MK in the morning. Pool break. MK afternoon, dinner Skippers Canteen, MNSSHP.
Sept 26th - Sleep in! Epcot F&W booths for lunch, pool break, Savor the Savanna, then Epcot EEH.
Sept 27th - AK, Tiffins lunch, then HS, MK, and Epcot (first attempt at 4 parks in one day!)
Sept 28th - Epcot, F&W booths for lunch, pool break, Rose and Crown dinner.
Sept 29th - AK, Nomad lunch, Pool break, Dinner Steakhouse 71 then MNSSHP
Sept 30th - Cabana day! Maybe mini golf at night.
Oct 1st - Epcot, F&W booths for lunch, pool break, Rose and Crown fireworks package, DIS after party!
Oct 2nd - go home :(
We loved doing Savor the Savannah. Looks like a great plan.

With these lower wait times, it looks like I will be waiting at least until park open to get my 1st LL on our arrival day, or the times will be too early for us, even for Remy and TT! We may not even have to rush to AK the day we go there. FOP has had ILL available for immediate entry whenever you book it with short wait times even for SB. Looks like we will be able to do a lot during our short trip! Yay! 4 more days!

Getting so excited watching everyone packing and leaving! We are counting down the days, and then of course I had to get sick this week. 🤦‍♀️ Nothing like what Karen’s husband has gone through😨😔 but still setting us back a bit in our preparations. Thinking of you @karen4546 hoping things are ok.
Y’all who are there before us, keep the on-the-scene reports coming! I’m loving hearing the details! 😍

I’m not sure your airline or layover location but I know that if you are going into DFW, ATL, that is not enough time. We had a 29 minute layover and in ATL and barely made it to the gate. If you have to make a bathroom stop - forget about it.

I would check to see if there is another flight on the same day. Good luck. Enjoy your trip.
