no, our first purchase is SSR. We saw it, but didn't really "see" it. Didn't realize the bus system. Hate that. Even with shorter life, I'd choose BCV.

Our original purchase was at the Poly. We still love it. However, my DH and one of my DDs have absolutely fallen in love with Wilderness Lodge. I am not sure if we would change our original home - maybe. However, I know we would have bought CC earlier.

Yes. Enjoy Riviera more each trip, but happy we can bop around for split stays to try them all.

Probably would be the same, but it is a close call. Bought VGF in 2014, really wanted WL but I didn't know about resale.
So, WL "BRV" or BCV would have been a really good possibility back then as well.

No. We bought SSR based on perceived value(numbers) and the belief that we could stay at other resorts at the 7 month mark.

I love CCV and am waiting on ROFR with a contract there right now. I should have bought there in the first place as it has always been the dream resort.

We will likely sell SSR and use the money to buy Riviera or Grand Floridian for the blue card benefits.

Yes, I love Riviera and VGF. But for my third contract, I wish I would have gone with a resale BWV.

Yes because BLT was the reason we bought into DVC.

But we have also bought and sold a few times to be where we are today, which no longer includes BLT because RIV and VGF are now tops.

Yes, VGF was our favorite resort long before we bought it, and we still would have added-on BWV for the proximity to EPCOT for the festivals

Our first ownership was resale at the Poly. The resort has its pros and cons. However, for us, the pros always outweigh the cons and I would do the same all over again.

Good combo, I would have liked BCV resale in 2014 when I first bought in and then CCV when it first opened.
Still pretty happy with my 3 Homes VGF, CCV and Riviera.

I’m an owner at OKW, BWV and Poly. Love them all and wouldn’t change a thing. I grew up going to OKW every year, my parents bought into DVC there when DVC was first offered so that was my first purchase as well and will always hold a special place in my heart. BW is our fave epcot resort and sooo happy we own there as well. Poly our most recent purchase is my current favorite even though we only can do studios there. I’m very happy with my choices but if I had to buy today, prices being what they are, I probably wouldn’t do it.

We stayed at OKW for the first time in April of this year, we really liked it and plan on staying there more often if the future booking at 7 months out.

I bought in initially at SSR as I was told it was the best value. But now I realized I have favorite resorts that can be hard to book so I added on at those places. I may eventually sell my SSR points but usually them as my SAP for now. I do love SSR but it’s usually easy to book there so resort advantage isn’t really necessary.

I have long felt that we were lucky to be able to buy into BWV way back when we did. I always get excited when a new DVC resort is announced, and we’ve stayed in them all, but BWV is the only one we need and will always be our home.

We own at Aulani and VGF for the one bedrooms, and CCV for the cabins. We love them all! I also love Riviera, where I use some direct points to book at 7 months.
