When was the last time you saw a live theater production?
What type was it?
(multiple choice)

*Lots of commercials for live productions in Chicago lately - that is what inspired this poll

For Me…..I haven’t seen a live theater production since before COVID - I don’t even remember what it was - I think Phantom of the Opera (we saw it in Chicago), which is my favorite. My DH and I used to go sometimes, but when DD19 started travel ball we didn’t have the time anymore. I love live theater, so I really want us to start going again.

I'm a big fan of the theater! Last time we saw something was December 2022 and it was Little Shop of Horrors Off Broadway in NYC. GREAT show!

We use to go to The Barn Theater in Augusta, MI all the time. Probably the last thing I saw there was Rocky Horror Picture Show.

It’s been so long I can’t recall - more than likely it was something Disney - Lion King maybe ( 2nd time ) or Beauty & Beast (3rd time )
Used to love going at Christmas for the Christmas shows

Anything professional was years and years ago. I guess most recent would have been when my kids were in high school and that was like 2017.

We are season ticket holders at Playhouse Square in Cleveland (2nd only to NYC's theater district) so go often, for a while there it was monthly. We live about an hour away but my daughter is a student at CSU and lives right there so it's something fun for her and I to do together. Next up, Tina Turner the musical!

We're season ticket holders in Pittsburgh and saw Tina on Sat. The music was great!!!!

The Book of Mormon in NYC. I'm not going to lie - we walked out at intermission. It was just too irreverent for this old (well, getting there) southern gal. I figured my granny was rolling in her grave.

😂

There’s a nationally-renowned theatre school and artist’s community near here. We saw a production there last November. We also go occasionally to musical dinner-theatre (there are two places of this sort in town). It’s not exactly Broadway caliber but it does make for a fun night out. I’ve got a girl’s weekend planned and it includes tickets to dinner-theater where they’re staging an ABBA revival. My companions were huge fans in back in the day, so it should be fun! :goodvibes

I don't remember the last time I saw a theater production. It's been a LONG time. I'm going to see Lion King in Philidelphia later this year. SO excited!!

I saw Guys & Dolls last year at our local theater - good show!
My sister performed in that at her college's theater program - great show!

September last year, spent a couple of days in NYC. Saw Come From Away and The Music Man. We try to get there every couple of years as my wife LOVES Broadway shows.

It's my mom's favorite of all time. She got us all tickets and we had a family night.

They are doing Mary Poppins this year and we are going.

I wanna say it was in 22, we went to some kind of community theater thing. It was dinner + a play afterwards (some in-law relative was involved). It was really funny and I really enjoyed it.
