Empress is pretty good! I love cocktails that are made with it. I agree Aviation is alright....btw :offtopic:....you know he sold it for over $600 millions? $600 MIL!!!
Wowza, I had no idea he sold it for that much!! I looked up how much George Clooney made when he sold his Tequila...a paltry $233 mil in comparison :rotfl2: That tequila, Casamigos, is the only one I like.

My question today is do you like packing cubes? I love them you can smoosh so much more stuff in them and they keep my suitcase so organized. We typically only use carry on when traveling no matter how long the trip.
Yes yes yes!! I wouldn't know how to pack these days without them.

Funny story - Years ago I used to make fun of them when I saw then at the Container Store. I was like...who needs these when everything goes into the suitcase anyway? Why double pack? Well... turns out that person is ME!!🤣 I came across some travel blogs why they are so great, and it makes sense so I bought a 3-pack to try it out. Guess what...now we have 4 different sets!
I couldn't believe how much of a breeze it is unpacking/packing at the hotel. The cubes are the most handy when you have split stay no matter where you are. DH usually don't think about these sorta things so I have to remind him. For our last cruise, we had 2 nights in Orlando pre-cruise so I told him to remember packing just couple days worth of clothes and whatever else you need in separate cubes for just the pre-cruise stay, so we don't have to take out everything from out suitcases. He was like "oh yeah that's a great idea💡" 😆

I ADORE my packing cubes. But I also organize my husbands clothes by the colors of the rainbow. ROY G BIV.

He sometimes likes to move them around to see how long it takes for me to change it back. 😬
You mean in the closet? Or even when packing?

Which are your favorite cubes? I've lost my mind and booked a 4 way split stay. 3 if the Riveria doesn't make me switch rooms.

Love packing cubes AND packing envelopes. They are a game changer especially when used together. Never heard of them until I read about them on the DIS many, many years ago. You really do find interesting nuggets here that are useful and not just....enabling :rolleyes1

I bought my eBags brand packing cubes years ago when eBags was a fun shopping website. Now, they don't have all the brand assortment. BLAH! I got my packing envelopes on sale through Sierra Trading Post online. Can't remember the brand.....

Just keeping updated, I've made it to page 78!

I drink soda. When asked "what kind" I drink diet only- Mountain Dew or root beer, but if it's a fountain soda I like diet Coke.

We eat supper every night, but if we go out to eat, it's "out to dinner." No idea why.

I'm surprised this thread is still on the Budget Board, that it hasn't been moved to the Community Board.

I don’t think the brand matters that much just look for the better reviews on Amazon. I have all different kinds. I just picked up some ikea one but haven’t tried them yet. The biggest problem I’ve had is bad zippers where they separate after being zipped. My favorite ones have a tag that says travel wise on them.

I love root beer! Someone once told me that to them it tastes like drinking toothpaste water as I was drinking it. Once they said that the next sip I took, the lightbulb went off and I could totally see how they thought that.

My youngest used to really like root beer, and Sprecher root beer was what I would buy when I could find it. It’s the best I’ve found. It’s from WI so I’m not sure if it’s available everywhere.

I haven’t tried packing cubes yet but wanted to jump in to say I really, really don’t like carry ons. Unless it all fits under the seat in front of me in my backpack and is light enough to forget it’s on my back when I’m walking in the airport I check it and don’t have to worry about it again until I arrive at whatever my final airport is.

I also don’t follow the “pack enough for 24 hours rule” other than medicines. I’d rather have had to start a trip shopping like I have on two occasions over the years rather than carrying on a heavier than necessary bag with me every single time I fly.

🙋‍♀️ Yep, did the exact same thing when I saw them in the Container Store. 😂

I hate dragging around luggage too, but I’ve been burned too many times with lost luggage so I at least pack my favorite shorts and my swimming suit. I figure that I can replace everything else easily but I’m kinda fussy about those two articles.

BUUUUTTT, since we are on the topic of luggage; I’m so annoyed with the boarding process and watching people trying to shove their suitcases overhead while holding everybody else up. 😡

I'm kind of indifferent about them. I have 3 sets of packing cubes but they haven't been as life changing for me as they have for some people on travel/Disney message boards. I've used them several times over the last few years. I used them on our Disney trip last summer with the intention of just moving them from the suitcases to the drawers (Disney is about the only place we actually unpack our suitcases), but my husband thought he was being helpful while I was returning the luggage cart to bell services and he took everything out of the packing cubes and dumped it all directly in the drawers. :rolleyes2 I do think the cubes keep things more organized when we're traveling somewhere warm. But I don't use them when we're traveling somewhere cold. They aren't very practical (for me) when packing jeans, sweatshirts, sweaters, etc.
