DISCOUNT TICKETS to Walt Disney World

I received the confirmation code shortly after the email mentioned above. About 6 hours after placing the order. I successfully added the tickets to MDE.

For the 3 Day Hoppers starting September 23:
Disney direct: $457.09
Undercover Tourist: $441.64
Boardwalk Ticketing: $429.08

Important to note that Boardwalk Ticketing passes are final sales. UT will provide a refund with a small service fee. (Tickets from either vendor can be changed within MDE following Disney change rules).

I recently purchased tix from Boardwalk Ticketing. Their prices were about the same as AAA. The ticket code was emailed within a few hours and the actual ticket cards were sent via UPS a few days following. I entered the codes into MDE and all worked perfectly.

In the end I placed an order through Boardwalk ticketing and it worked well. I had 6, 6 day tickets to buy, so I divided it into 2 purchases to see how it went. There was an automatic email generated right away from parksavers with the order details. The confirmation code which can be linked to MDE was sent 5 hours later for the first order, and the next day for the second which I was able to easily link both times.
For 6 day tickets the price was $26 less than UT and $40 less than Disney per ticket which is a nice discount. Thought I would share as I had not heard about Boardwalk until I read this thread, and would use them again.

Just bought 2 tickets (out of 4, will be the other 2 this month) at boardwalk , received my eticket within hours and received the physical ticket in the mail a week later.

highly recommended, I saved close to $100 compared to UT and $130 compared to WDW

Okay so question for those who used Boardwalk Ticketing (I had never heard of them until just now), I am comparing ticket prices and when I look on BT it gives me a "grand total" before putting in my payment info. I am not ready to buy yet because I'm not going unto February of 2024 so I have to wait on those tickets to be available. I just used a random date to compare prices for now. Do you guys remember if the grand total it showed you before putting in your payment options already included taxes and fees? I'm just trying to see if they add extra fees and taxes after I put in my payment so I'll know if I am truly saving what it says I am saving (for the random date I used to text compare).

Boardwalk Ticketing’s FAQ covers this: “Most companies don’t add tax until the very last page, significantly increasing your ticket price. Our prices always include tax from start to finish so there’s no hidden fees!”
 
We have always stayed on site and purchased through Disney & despite numerous trips we are grossly unprepared for this trip ~ havent been since before CV19 and decided rather last minute to take this trip. We have JUST booked at the Drury Inn for the end of JULY and plan to do a split trip with Uni and WDW. To trim costs we have found what appears to be a great deal on tickets at Sam's club. Question, once purchased online, what happens? I assume i will get some sort of email / confirmation...then what? Also, we will get early park entry with our stay I think if that matters? how do we access that??

When I bought UT tickets I was emailed confirmation/ticket numbers to add to MDE myself. If you’re allowed EE then the turnstiles should turn green with your hotel reservation linked, I think.

sorry, are you saying that I need to add my hotel to MDE? i was trying to figure out how that was going to work too.

ETA: the price with taxes / fees looks to be about $120 cheaper
By my calculations: $2564 via WDW v. $2486 via SAM's Club
for reference: 4 day PH with 1st day 7/24/2023
Feel free to check my math, I did a few times and kept coming up with same thing

This is the exact itinerary of our June 4-10 trip - 1 day in each park and we paid north of $600 for the same deal - more than $200 per person more. >:( I wish there was some way we could get a refund but Disney doesn't work that way.
Did you purchase those tickets from Disney ? And will you be staying on property? Maybe Disney can issue a credit . Have you called guest services to ask ?

I chatted with guest services and keep getting the same line about "Tickets and packages at Walt Disney World Resort are nontransferable and nonrefundable."

Since your trip is less than 30 days away I’m guessing g you’ve paid in full? That could make a difference. I just ran the numbers and after tax, it looks like you’re paying $143 more per ticket. That’s a lot for sure.

Once these tickets go on sale I’d recommend calling and seeing if they can do anything to help you out. Can’t hurt, especially if you were only planning to go to each park only once and would do all your park visits within 7 days.

I actually bought them through Undercover Tourist - trying to figure out from them if they provide refunds. They are already linked via MDE.

I'm in the same boat. Also worried about returning tickets a week before departure, trying to buy new tickets and getting blocked out of parks!

This isn't ideal but if you plan to visit again, you could get the "deal" tickets for now and use the other tickets for the future. I didn't focus on all the replies so I don't know where you bought them or what type they were.

I have done that pre-covid, but I know lots has changed.
 
Regarding the summer discount ticket offer, does anyone know if resellers have offered this type of ticket package with a discount in the past? I never buy my tickets direct from Disney and this is a great offer but just wondering if the resellers will get a chance to offer the package even if it is at a modest discount.

Good news - any tickets purchased through Undercover Tourist can be refunded minus a 5% fee. I'm totally going this route then buying the Magic ticket on May 23. Will still save us hundreds of dollars.

I'm in the same boat as you! I could actually switch and get an extra park day but still save money (my current tickets are 3-day). This seems like a no brainer, but the current tickets require park reservations and the new ones won't? Anyone know what impact that might have? We're staying on site and I've already got dining reservations, am I risking not getting into the parks if we plan to rope drop?

This is what I'm worried about. I may buy the new tickets and try to add before removing other tickets. I guess we will need to wait a week to find out...
