No one is forcing you to stay in any of the rooms that allows dogs. You must be fun at parties.
My whole point is the fee doesn’t do anything other than line Disney’s pockets. They don’t clean the rooms during the stay because of the dogs (understandable), but between guests they don’t clean the dog friendly rooms any differently than the non-dog friendly rooms and the cleaning staff doesn’t see a penny of that fee money (source - former housekeeping employees). Most hotels charge a flat fee, which again doesn’t actually change their cleaning practices but it’s more reasonable. Disney’s “nightly” fee isn’t tied to anything other than their own greed. If they were coming to deep clean my room every night, great, but they’re not.
