Hope you pros and experts can help me with this one.

We are going to see family in Florida (IN 2 WEEKS) and now DH has decided that he would like to take 2 days out of the week to go to Disney (which is 3 hours away).

We are DVC members so no cost on the room and the we can get a 1nt/ 2day because we're hotel guests so we can park hop.

Can some of you give me some ideas on getting the most out of 2 days so that I can feel like I've been to Disney. I'm afraid that these 2 days will be a tease compared to the 6-8 days we usually do.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

TIA

I would do EE. Another option would be to make a PS at Crystal Palace for 8:05 on a non-EE day. Check the day before for cancellations if you can't get it now. I have taken two 3-day trips to Disney, and we got a lot done.

USE FAST PASS constantly. I noticed this summer that you are eligible for a new fast pass 5 minutes after your current fastpass becomes active. So get another fast pass right before you use the first fast pass. Obviously you can't go on everything. You might want to skip some of the longer shows, or just step into the back right before they start instead of getting there an hour early to get a good seat. Go on rides at MK during the parade/fireworks. Some of the outside rides you can actually see the fireworks.

Plan your meals and parks to best maximize your time. Try to spend as little time on transportation as possible. If you're at a deluxe resort, that will be easy, but do things like plan Epcot's World Showcase and MGM for the same day and take the boat or walk between them. Go to MK and then monorail it over to Epcot's Future World. I find that taking busses is a big waste of time. I'd skip AK all together. I always have a terrible time catching a bus from there--no matter where I am going.

TIA

We are going down this weekend and originally only had 3 nights, so we had to scramble to get everything in, in 4 days. We got lucky enough to add an additional day to our trip, so now we have more flexibility.

Anyhow, in looking at our new itinerary, we will have the 4 major parks hit in two days. You would need to do this on a Friday and Saturday.

We are planning on going to AK (using early entry on Friday), staying until noon or 1 and then going to EPCOT until close 9 pm. On Saturday we are going to MGM (again using early entry), staying again until noon or 1 and then going to MK until close at 9 pm.

Fortunately, we will be going back to MK on Sunday night for MNSSHP and we now have an open day on Monday to do whatever we want. So we will get a little more time in at the parks if we miss something or want to do some things again.

Depending on how much time you want to spend in each park and what you want to see, you could get to all the parks. It would be a lot of rushing around and it depends on how busy the days are that you are going.

BTW, the first day (Thursday) will be a do nothing day. Swim at the pool and do dinner in DTD.

Have fun.
