$39.99 per person per night age 3-9 (+$1.24 versus 2017)

You can find the prices here: https://www.disboards.com/threads/2018-disney-dining-plan-prices-general-discussion.3612557/
No discounts for members but the prices normally stays the same all year.
Thank you! The only reason I was asking is because I noticed last years prices were about $2.25 less than the general public. Not much of a savings but, based on a party of 4 for a week it adds up.
It's not actually a discount as you'd think of a discount.
DVC contracts with Disney for the Dining Plan on a full-year basis. So whatever the price is on 1/1 is the DVC price all year - even if Disney raise the dining plan price in, say, September, for general purchase.
So IF the price goes up before 12/31, DVC will pay less than general public. But it's not on any kind of percentage basis.
2019 price. You cannot add the DDP to a DVC reservation until the 2019 price is announced mid summer.OK. In case if I ever decide to get the dining plan, is the price going to be based on the price at the time of purchase or travel. For instance, if I request (and pay for) a dining plan in June 2018 for a trip in January 2019 and the price on the DVC contract goes up on January 1, 2019, would I be getting the 2018 or 2019 price?

Yes, it does. It is a 12-month agreement with the division running DDP.This is really interesting. So does this mean the current price for the DDP through DVC will most likely be the same price for an Oct 2018 vacation regardless of any additional Disney price increases later this year? Thanks.
That is also what I’ve heard. Thank you.Even with the deluxe plan being the best value it is way too much food. We did it last year for 3 days of our stay and those days I felt like a compulsive eater as we always had the next meal in mind as we needed to use those credits.
Going forward I’ll only do one day(first day in a spilt stay) on the deluxe and spread out the credits on two days.
do you have any idea if this is still the case for 2019?Yes, it does. It is a 12-month agreement with the division running DDP.
It has not changed. Still set per calendar year for DVC reservations.do you have any idea if this is still the case for 2019?
I mean, maybe they have shorter term agreements now (3 or 6 months) but it is still contract between groups.do you have any idea if this is still the case for 2019?
Thanks, the wheels of DVC turn very slowly. I want to add it for my January trip but wanted to buy gift cards to do that etc and wondering if I need to do it sooner rather than later. It has not changed. Still set per calendar year for DVC reservations.
They probably do not want the bookkeeping involved in that I'm guessing but who knows. I'm a bit more than 3 months from my trip so hopefully I'm goodI mean, maybe they have shorter term agreements now (3 or 6 months) but it is still contract between groups.
