5k holiday Run

im a total newbie to running at disney. For that matter an all around novice but my daughter and I were lucky enough to secure spots for the wine and dine 5k that was formerly called Jingle Jungle and now called Holiday something. I know it goes through AK so would we expect that the best place to find lodging would be at AKL?

It's the closest yes, but, all of the resorts will have bus service to the race so I don't think it matters too much on where you stay personally. I would pick more on which resort you like best versus if it's close to AK or not. It should be a fun race!
