Chapter 8 - Part One
Will We Ever Be Warm Again (spoiler alert-NO!)
Another day, another rope drop! A tasty, quick breakfast in the room courtesy of the frozen food aisle at Publix.
A quick check of the weather: will it be nice and warm today? Well, that is a big fat negatory. Time to bundle up and hit the bus stop for our last day at Epcot today.
Trying not to freeze to death at the busstop.
My mom decided to go in a separate security line and was on and off Test Track before we even made our cars! The girls had a quick Cheetos snack, because what else would you want to eat at 9:45am? Because there is never enough drama on our trips, you know we had to have an issue with the Cheetos. I had bought a huge bag of little snacks at Sam's before the trip, but apparently all my mom wanted out of it was the Cheetos. Usually she only wants the plain potato chips. Well, she had hoarded all the Cheetos in the basket of her scooter and gave the kids a hard time if they asked for any. Rebecca snuck a bag out after I told her I knew she had several in there. They quickly ate them while my mom was in the rest room and she was none the wiser. I had no idea Cheetos were going to be such a hot commodity or I would have bought a huge box of just them.
After Mission Space (half orange, half green) we stopped at Starbucks for my Epcot mug and some hot coffee! We needed to defrost a bit. My mom got a breakfast sandwich, (since you know she can't eat anything in the room because she doesn't have time after she takes her meds) and we all had something to drink. My mocha was just meh. Not the best, I think they shorted me a pump of syrup. But it was hot, so I drank it and we moved on! ($54.87, including the mug)
Spent some time Soarin’ around the world and decided we needed a snack since it was still a few hours until our Biergarten ADR. We got our favorite Mickey pretzels and cheese and headed back to the DVC Lounge for the Freestyle machine and comfy seats. It was way more crowded today. They brought the snack cart around and Cheez-It’s, Doritos and Gummy Bears were chosen.
Properly sated, we spent sometime with some proper British ladies before making our way to Germany for our Biergarten ADR.
