Adding On - $$ is Primary Driver - What Would You Do?

We own a 150 pt contract at SSR. With the Canadian dollar flying high we are thinking about a small (liekly 50 pt) add on. We are very flexible in terms of where we stay and we always go off season. So, the cost of the add on really is the driving factor for us. It seems like there are a TON of options right now with DVC offers on SSR, AKV and possibly more coming up with CRV. There is also resale of course.

So - if it were you weighing the options, what would you do?

We are also very flexible with where we stay and we usually go in lower DVC seasons. When we did our add-on a month ago we went with the best deal available. That was at SSR (we already have one contract there) and we did the double developer points plus got our 06 points. We liked the idea of AKV but SSR was a better deal for us b/c we got the 06 points that we banked. We would not have had the 06 points with AKV.

Since we are so willing to stay at any DVC resort it was an easy decision to go with the best deal available. So far we have had no problem getting ressies that make us happy including during F&W, New Years, and spring break.

Good luck!

SSR w/all the inecentives. I am paying SSR and AKV dues and the SSR dues are considerably cheaper.
