Grilled Street Corn
It was okay, but the corn at Animal Kingdom is the real champion
I don't fault them for trying. Next time try harder.


Northern Bloom:
Scallops: it was just off. they used a tangy sauce and it worked so poorly with the dish
Filet tips: Very tender and great flavors. everything works.
Maple pound cake: Loved almost all of it. Popcorn is good but not in the same mouthful with the rest.


Honey Bee
corn spoon bread: not bad but not great. we didn't want to finish it.
wasn't worth the stomach space.

Festival Favorites:
Burnt Ends: Very good sandwich, all flavors meld. Loved the pickle. Cause its a PICKLE. Duh
Fried green tomatoes & crab: Very good, but didn't like the crab with the tomato in the same bite.
Key Lime Tart: Wife loved it. I thought it was okay. Not the biggest lime tart dude.

Brunch Box
Avocado toast: loved it. It sparked a ongoing lust for it. My wife have been making it for me several times weekly.
Brisket Hash: Awesome. Was not paying attention to the menu board for all the other stuff in it, but it was luscious.
Cinnamon roll bites: Yup, yup, and YUP. lovely little fritters they are and happy they will make thee.
Shrimp & Grits: Shocked they got the shrimp cooked right since its mass produced. Love this a lot.
This booth was my favorite and bliss was found.

Popcorn cart.

Loved it EH. Not sure how us hoser's never got this before but not going to
be skipped again. Eh.
Not to start a kerfuffle, it's as good as the popcorn in the Germany candy store.
But it's only a few click's away, try them both for yourself. EH.
After eating it I feel like a true Canuck. EH.

WOLFGANG PUCK

Appetizer TACO PIZZA:
Very good, BUT our last trip the buffalo pizza was so amazing and to
our chagrin was taken off the menu. So we were forced to try another.
While this was very nice, PLEASE Mr.Pucky PUT IT BACK ON THE MENU.

Roasted Crispy Chicken with green beans & mashed spuds.
Not bad, but for the place and $$$ it really should have been much better.

Burger & Fries:
last visit for whatever reason was so much better. Wish it was the same.
Not bad but something changed since December and not for the better.
But the pickle is the same awesomeness. CAUSE ITS A PICKLE.

What Pucky wanted for the Food.

Loved it. Brought it back one night to our room at Saratoga with some other goodies. Walking to Springs is wonderful BTW.
We really liked gathering foods early and having it in our room. Makes it easier some nights.
Fantastic flavors and great chicken parts. Dressing was unique and stupendous.

Bread ( This bread cost us no bread )
Seems so odd everywhere in Disney bread is overcharged
but here it was not. Nice. Crusty loaf and warm.
A pleasant surprise.

Not shabby and nicely cooked.
Loved the housemade pickles. CAUSE THIS DUDE LOVES PICKLES

PARM DUO: chicken & eggplant subbed roasted potatoes.
Chicken was okay and the eggplant was a tad bitter.
Very basic quality and a slight step above a Olive Garden.
We were expecting much better.

The Denaro it costs us.

Meatloaf Platter:
Smoked meatloaf frizzled onions & Spuds with brussels,cauli & brunt end chili
Everything was exceptionally good. We never had this dish before and hope its permanent
We did also take this back to the room to reheat later and it reheats wonderfully.
No polite pig here, GIMME MORE NOW.

Came back again, never had this dish before and this one also is a must have.
All the sauces are stupendous and works on all of it.
Love the pig and I don't give a crap if he's polite or not.

Magic room

Croquetas de pollo

Toasted slices of uniquely crispy and ethereal
bread brushed with fresh tomato

Espinacas a la catalana
Sautéed spinach with pine nuts, raisins & apples

Tortilla de patatas
Spanish omelet with potato & onions

fried potatoes : spicy tomato sauce & garlic alioli

Carne asada
Grilled flat iron steak with confit piquillo peppers

Worth every single cent for all of it.

We were always hesitant towards trying Jaleo since they opened.
While a beautiful restaurant we were always leery of a Spanish menu since we've never tried it before.
But after seeing Pete and the gang's video review on DIS boards youtube
I decided to make a reservation the next day. My wife was a little hesitant but after this meal she's a believer.
I hear the angels singing.

They first brought out the chicken croquettes and they were heavenly.
A creamy chicken mixture inside beautifully crisp and fried pocket of wonderful flavors.
If this a not a great start nothing is.

Next came out the tomato bread and this was nothing short of stellar.
So simple but for whatever magic they've created in that kitchen it was superb.
I want LOAFS of this bliss. I want to know what bread this was and how I
can obtain it in my life daily. If it was a puppy I would cuddle it.

The potatoes and spinach popped out next and they both are you guessed it excellent.
I'm glad I didn't think too much about it when I saw that there were raisins & apples in the spinach but it totally works.
Other than it looked like a baby diaper was wiped on the bowl first, it was not.
The potatoes had a nice little punch to it but not spicy and wonderfully flavored.
Liked the garlic aioli and the sauce that sat upon I need both of these in my life on the reg.

The egg onion potato omelette look very basic but it wallops in flavor. I adored it.
Not sure how the flavors that exuded from it from such a basic looking dish. Magic again.

Last came out was the carne asada and as you guessed it perfection.
Salted perfectly and tender. I adored every bite.

I am very happy we ended up eating here and now this is my top spot for favorite restaurant
in all of Disney World outshining boathouse which was my personal favorite until now.
Jaleo might have to be a twice and a trip visit.
I stand and applaud everyone that works there.

Bread pudding- white cream something or other

the amount for sweet bliss

Love getting stuff to takeout for later consumption.
We LOVE the hell out of a good bread pudding and
we never tried this one so we rectified that.
YOWZERS this was nice. Like a long lost friend in your mouth.
This is a must eat if you like the devils puddin. Live a LIL'.

Our December trip brunch was a bit better. This time
the eggs sucked, dry and BLEH. The french toast was okay, but last time was scary good.
The tomatoes are still exceptional.
Mac & Cheese is punch you in the mouth perfect.
Cheesy spuds, need I say more. Okay I will they are SPUD-tastic.

Price for the hooch. refills $13 each BUT unlimited soda refills forever.
And you can pack the squeezer every trip. WIN!!!

Chocolate cake was good, but the only cake needed is the hummingbird.
Gee wiz this is always perfect. Nothing about it is less than perfect.
Get it A LOT. You'll be a happy bird.

What the haul costs

We have been to Gideons at the market place before the Springs location opened and
it is a lot more convenient. The waits here are silly long mostly. We didn't wait to long about 30mins.
While all the cookies are decent, I don't really love them. We only tried ones we have not had before
and still nothing stands up and wows us. I love a crisp thin cookie. These are doughy.
The cake slices are mostly frosting with a touch of cake. I want more cake than frosting.
I did love the peanut butter dip cup & PB cold brew.
The dipped cookies are a notch above the non dipped.
I really am impressed by the decor inside. Amazing.
Unless they have a amazing new cookie our next visit, I'll pass.
So many more impressive sweet treats all over that are FAR better and easy to get.

Sporkys adoption papers. So worth it.
The only souvenir I bought for myself this trip.
I will give him a good home, shoveling foods into my face.

So sad at your departure, bummed and down,
when you came back my frown turned upside down.

Strawberry Jelly & Coconut Dream

Cinnamon toast crunch

When I seen the videos of when they opened we both said F*** that on $5 donuts
BUT we "have" to try it, so we did. The strawberry was very good and well above average.
I liked the coconut somewhat, it had a overpowering almond extract after taste.
Cinnamon one was just basic.
All of them are large and can be split easily.
I would get that strawberry again for sure next trip.
Go get your face GLAZED.

When Earl of Sandwich opened years ago we loved it. For some reason over the years we had been skipping it.
Since we were staying in Congress park and really like gathering foods for later dinner we grabbed Earl's.

Still impresses us for what it is. Really liked all the sandwiches. Trying to fit some veggies on vacation so
having salads the two weeks here was nice. This cobb was excellent. Chicken included too. Very fresh.
Cheap was well. This is now back on the list for every trip. Earl my man, great seeing you again!

Earl has fallen out of our rotation too. So many great options in Disney Springs it's tough to fit them all in. I keep saying we need to do a food-focused long weekend at Saratoga Springs to hit as many spots as we can. Definitely putting Jaleo on that list too!

D-LUXE BURGER

Double Bacon Stack Burger & Fries

when you bring home the bacon this is how much
they want of your bacon

We had D-Luxe once before and were very underwhelmed.
So like the food scientists that we are try it again I say.
Happy to report this was all around much better than last time,
but not even close to being the best burger.
All the sauces really do soar high, nice assortment of them.
So many far superior burgers in Springs and Resorts.
Glad it was a improvement though.
Other than the price nothing deluxe about D-Luxe.

Fish & Chips Order of Onion Rings
love the batter on the onion rings.
Good flavor and large portion.
Fish & chips are good. I do think the one in Raglin is better but our
favorite is the Fish & Chip shop in Epcot UK
This is always a good easy go to while at Springs.

CHICKEN GUY

5 piece tender & Chicken Caesar salad

Another meal grabbed for dinner later at the room
Tenders reheat nice and were good. Nothing mind blowing.
Salad was fresh and full of chicken.
We have eaten here a few times and while its okay, not sure we need to
keep it in our rotation. We'll see......
