we still love the crap out of Disney as all of us on here do.
This was my 22nd trip & wife's 12th

We had a blast and we were in Disney back in January and since then only Guardians opened and we both HATED it.
Wow, never again.
Crowds were better than in January, but not like the past in Sept after Labor day.
Eating for me was tougher than past since my everyday diet is OMAD (one meal a day, 23 hours fasting)
We split everything as usual and I made it through.
Lots of grub to look at so enjoy. Any questions just ask!

If you would like to read my past food reports here you go.

Oh man, can’t wait for the rest! Tell me pickles will be featured more prominently this time 😄
Sadly I did not focus on the pickles. although they were always added. I even had a jar in the fridge for room enjoyment.
I asked for a cup of them at Roaring forks and I found a new hack. Gave me a large cup.

WHISPERING CANYON

We have not eaten here in a while even though we are at WL often.
I needed at burger and this meaty scoundrel had a fried pickle adorning its noggin. @ThreeBoyMama
Burger was better than the one at Geyser point. Plus its indoors.
Wife felt like a salad and she got a good one. I liked it a bunch. We split both.
Great server as well, we asked to sit out of the main room, quieter and she was great.

For a joint that's got whispering in the name, none of that going on here cowpokes.......

unRESERVED ( at JW MARRIOTT BONNET CREEK)

After seeing our favorite YouTube Disney vloggers Traveling around Disney
eat here we wanted to check it out, it's right next to Riviera so close and it's something new for us.
First off did not expect such a wonderful dining space, and really like the open dedicated cooking modules.
May's trip we are going to try the breakfast buffet for sure.

Pizza Module

unreserved menu.jpg
this item told us what they are willing to cook & sell us. Fancy and informative,
two-fer right there.

Unreserved Sourdough bread basket.jpg
The complimentary bread is baked in house and loved the fancy french rolled butter.
It was perfect and brought out more as well. Our server was very on point and the
entire staff as well.

Unreserved Burger.jpg
Outstanding burger. Bun was pillow soft. Although I do not suggest to take a siesta on it, looks
odd. Flavor and seasoning of the meat was divine.
All the accoutrements were fresh and balanced.
Fries were very good and well seasoned. We loved it all.

Unreserved Pizza Quattro carne.jpg
Very good pizza with meats, we watched them cook it and I approve.
They know what the heck they're doing

Unreserved Pizza side.jpg
sexy side glamor shot for you food pervs

Unreserved Chicken calabrese.jpg
we were not a fan, sounded better on the menu. looks great, taste meh.

Unreserved reciept.jpg
this is what the whole kit-n-caboodle set ya back.

See ya again in May!

Fried pickle for the win!

YORKSHIRE FISH SHOP

UK fish menu.jpg

UK fish & chips.jpg

We always get some fishy every trip and this was no different.
The crisp flavorful fishy swam well into our stomachs, but
not well enough to out swim the fisherman.
Fries were sturdy but not salted well enough when yanked out of the fryer.
Still ate them all.

TRATTORIA AL FORNO

Trattoria Al forno.jpg

Trattoria Al forno-tiramisu French toast.jpg

Trattoria Al forno-eggs.jpg

Believe it or not, we never ate here before. I guess it would be odd if you didn't
believe that. We always seen such wonderful rave reviews about breakfast so
we figured lets give it a go.
I thought the decor was nice and service was good, but we were not
blown away by the food. I like the bread served with the eggs and it was a decent dish
just not very hearty or our type of breakfast ( See Topolino's).
Sauce was flavored well. Needs more eggs.

French toast was also just okay, not a fan of the textures of the fingers in the
french toast, to much like meringue. At least we finally tried it and got it off our
dwindling completer list of places to try. One and done for us, unless they change out
the breakfast.

STARBUCKS ( several locations)

Wife likes Starbucks on vacation so we get it.
Plus she always has free gift cards so even better.

SB Carmen frappe & leige waffle.jpg
Waffle was okay, not as much as most people claim.
I call shenanigans !!!

Starbucks mocha frappe.jpg

Starbucks-foam Coldbrew.jpg

Starbucks-oh my gourd cupcake.jpg
not shabby, wife liked the look of it and thought it was okay.
I agreed.

Starbucks-pumpkin muffin.jpg
muffin was better and they thought we ordered it, we told them
we did not and she told us to keep it.
Thanks nice Starbucks lady. Double free.

I am enjoying your thread, but I am waiting for some more healthy options. Surely it’s time for another salad or some green things?😉

SALT & STRAW

Salt & straw menu.jpg

Salt & Straw-caramel & slab pie.jpg
Happy to see another premium ice cream spot open and
some very interesting flavors. Our Ice Cream Sherpa lead us thru
a cornucopia of samples. Most were above average and some where just okay.
I love they allow that and we settled on the caramel & slab pie which
was outstanding. Great berry / pie ratio and full of pizzazz.
