Any TF Green info for me?

We are flying out of TF Green on Saturday afternoon. Should I plan to be in the airport 2 hours early or less?

Does anyone know the cost of leaving a car there for a week?

Anything else I should know about Green?

We try to get there 1 1/2 -2 hrs before. Then we can just relax, get something to eat. The last time we flew out of Green, we parked in the multi-level garage to the side of the terminals. At the time it was less than $100 to park for a week, but someone told me it has gone up. But, it is very convienient to the terminals, and is covered(nice in the winter). This airport is extremely easy to use and to around in. We love it.

I'm flying out next Wednesday morning at 7:25 a.m. I'm planning on being there by 5:30 AM. We're staying at the Radisson across the street and leaving our car there using the Park & Fly rate. I know TFGreen has parking facilities for about $12/day $53 a week, There is a coupon in supercoups for $42.40 a week or $9.60 a day.

www.preflightparking.com is listed on the coupon, that may help you. It's supposed to be right next to Legal Seafood... My friends used it in October and were amazed... They weren't even out of their car and the shuttle bus was pulling up to take them to the terminal. I guess they have camera's and can see people pulling in and gettin out of their cars and can dispatch a driver, or they have shuttles driving around and around at certain peaks times it seemed to them.

I love TFGreen, I'll go there anytime I can. Logan is a LAST resort now, even with the Ted Williams Tunnel. Did you go on their website? http://www.pvd-ri.com/ it has all sorts of info and shows you were the gates are, etc... not that any of them are a long huge walk. Even with all the renovations and improvements it's still a "small" airport!!

Hi Jeanny. Who knew. I never knew that existed. Heaven forbid my dh take an 'airport shuttle' anywhere. Thanks for that info. I'll be sure to keep that in mind next time we use Green.

You're very welcome. It's nice to be able to help. The terminal map even shows where the counter service is and the most important thing in an airport-- the BATHROOMS!! ha, ha.

Just be prepared to stay with your luggage as it is sent through the scanner. When I used USAirways about a month ago, you go to the ticket counter, check in or use the kiosk and then they have you go in another line to wait to be escorted over with your luggage to be scanned. If it is Ok you are on your way otherwise they will inspect it right there. That was the only holdup. Going through security was fast.
