Are there ever a change of characters on the ships?

We sailed the Magic during Thanksgiving, 2001. We asked if Pooh and friends were there and were told they were not on board this time. But, the CM also said they were 'thinking' of coming on board. Any thoughts of that? And, I'd love to see more 'modern' characters -- like Buzz and Woody.

We just finished our cruise and saw Snow White at the terminal and Donald/Daisy Ducks and Dopey on the ship (Wonder). We didn't see any of those characters on our April cruise. Anyone else?

For some reason, there seemed to be less characters on the October 12 magic - mainly missed seeing Baloo - who had previously been on the 7-day Magic. It did seem that the Magic had more character than the Wonder - but that is probably because the cruise is longer.
