It was a great day to be out today,, and my daughter's team won as well. She is a chearleader. Stan, everyday will get better and better.
Thank you as well for my card.. it was here waiting for me when we got home. Made me smile
We went to eat after the game since it was over 1.5 miles away ,, I proceded to get sick.. thus getting Marty more worried.. And there comes Daniel into the PIZZA HUT woman's bathroom.. needless to say,, I think they lost business today,,lol

Cindy will we get a row of rooms somewhere? I have never been there before. I will have the kids with me for dinners and shopping ,,, and Jaclyn will watch them all in a room for us adult to see entertainment for awhile... What dy are we talking and how $$$$ is the room. Rememer we are poor folk....lol, But I am seriously thinking of going.. What about Veterans weekend,, is in any less $$$$ then the holiday time?? just ideas. I am going through FRIENDS withdrawel... can you tell.

I looked up so hotels but being the novice and not a gambler.. i found the LaRenaissance.. that has 2 rooms and an indoor pool, Flagship Resort has indoor pool,The Sands only has 4 rooms left,.and no indoor pool... all you regulars... fill me in please. I need to plan.. esp since it so close to xmas..

I talked to my dad today.. I have been avoided talking to him since I didnt want him to know how bad my speech was... He said " Doreen how are you feeling, I can tell the change in your voice,,, As I began to cry...He tried to encourage me,, but you guys are better therapy for me anytime..

So glad to see you up and about. Welcome back!

Some AC info: We stayed at the Flagship and it is nowhere near the boardwalk or casinos. You need a car to get back and forth. And the last time we were there, the surrounding neighborhood was not so nice. Their pool, however, was nice.

The Showboat and Caesars are our favorite. Not sure if either one has a pool though.

Some of the better buffets are the French Quarter in Showboat (go for a late lunch and then you don't have to pay dinner prices). The Sultan's Feast in Taj Mahal also very nice. Our favorite is the one in Caesars. Reasonably priced, nice decor and good food. They also have a great breakfast buffet.

Try to get over to Absecon Lighthouse. It's very pretty and not far. Also, you could go to Margate to see Lucy the Margate Elephant. Here's a website that might help: http://www.atlanticcitynj.com/home.asp

Glad you got out today. Sorry you got sick. Your family must be so worried (especially to enter the women's room, what a good son). Maybe you needed that cry with your dad, but I'm glad you are back here goofing around with us. But if you need to cry again, we are here for you. Friends in rain or shine.

And I still like the Black Pearl Castaways. I think it would look really cool with Dori's graphic of Hurricane Frances. She said it was black and grey, I think. And a string of pearls would be a nice accent piece. Shopping anyone?

Ok I cant stand to be #2.. we are always #1,,lol. I just had to add to this page to make us go back to the first page. Did anyone one the cruise see any pearls being sold by the inch at COZUMEL??
2 yrs ago thats all we saw besides Diamond international and the pearl places.. of course I didnt buy any... I wanted to this yr.. But couldnt ...
Guess I will have to go look for some "BLACK PEARLS"....

FYI - I had planned to use the "Lost @ Sea Club" name on the hurricane t-shirts. (I figure that someone from the other group would get upset if we 'appropriate' that name for our reunion t-shirts as well.) The design is coming along well.

I am having trouble with my new computer at home and cannot access the internet unless I borrow Devin's computer (the old one). I will do my best to get the t-shirt design out there, but am not sure how long this may take.

Dori! It's great to "see" you again! I was hoping everything was alright with you, I hadn't seen you post in a few days.

I've been home sick for a couple of days (nothing serious just a chronic condition that flares up occassionally).

I did get the transparency templates for the t-shirts started over this last weekend. The 2006 cruise shirt templates are set up and nearly ready for creating the actual screen. AND I got the first of three layers of the hurricane patterned. I am working on the next layer now. I hope to be able to create the screens needed to do the shirts by the end of the month.

Mary Rose - did you get the dvd from the stingray/ snorkeling excursion? If so, how does yours end? While the beginning is fanastic, ours just ends with someone, maybe you?, holding a stingray. Something is missing, like the whole coral garden portion.
