Aulani Rainbow Reef

For the people who have been to Aulani recently, if you did Rainbow Reef does the fee for the Reef include the snorkel gear that you can use at the beach or is that a seperate charge? We are trying to figure out if it would be smarter to rent snorkel gear from Snorkel Bobs for the week or if do the Rainbow Reef for the length of stay is a better deal. The snorkel rental at the beach price is outrageous.

The snorkel gear that is included in the Rainbow Reef fee cannot be taken away from Rainbow Reef... it is checked right back in by a CM as soon as you get out of the pool.

Yes, but you get a Mickey stamp on your bracelet and with that you can go to the beach and they will give you snorkel gear to use at the beach with your rainbow reef purchase.

Paddle Boards are $30/hour, boogie boards are free but first come, first serve!

I know that for the single day pass to Rainbow Reef there was a 10% discount for DVC, so hopefully it would apply to the length of stay pass. Single day for children is $10 and $15 for length of stay. Single day for adults is $15 and length of stay is $20. Pretty good before the DVC discount. You're able to get snorkel equipment for use at the beach lagoon which is a big plus.
