Aulani Sights in Waikiki

We have 2 nights in waikiki before we move over. It's me, my dh and 2 dd's in their 20's. Haven't done Punchbowl cemetery, bishops museum and the chinaman's hat. Also want to do a little Hawaii 5 0 hunting, lol! Are these things we should be doing while staying in Waikiki? Any suggestions on an itinerary.

1st full day is a Sunday and we are doing Swap Meet in the am. Then day free. 2nd day 2 of us hike Diamond Head early, then that's our travel day to Aulani. What's the best time to head towards Aulani?

It would be possible to drive up to the chinaman's hat after the swap meet - it's a bit in the opposite direction, but still it doesn't take all that long - you can head north through the center of the island from the swap meet area and then head towards the east side of the island. Just a bit north of the chinaman's hat is a nice little macadamia plantation that puts on an interesting little presentation and then you go out in a boat in the lagoon where the plane came in at the beginning of Fantasy Island. That was kinda neat. You get a good view of chinaman's hat from there too.

If you're heading to Aulani on a Monday, try to beat the afternoon traffic out of Honolulu - the distance isn't all that long, but the traffic in the city is terrible!
