Aulani Tax

I am sure this has been discussed before but do members who stay at Aulani
have to pay the Hawaii hotel tax? If so how is the amount determined and on average is it a high added expense? We would like to take our daughter as a graduation gift and e were just not sure what extra expenses we would have. Thanks in advance.

By the way, the Transient Accommodation Tax, which applies to the DVC villas, is lower than the hotel tax that is levied on stays in the Aulani hotel rooms.
