I’d buy an echo dot and a BearDot Mini Smart Plug. You can program it for lamps. Or Phillips hue bulbs with a hub. On the hue bulbs you can set it so it recognizes your phone when you are in the driveway. Ours turns on outside lights at the door, then we yell hello Alexa and the outside goes off, and the inside comes on. It’s nice to not trip over our cats. We can also set it when we are away.
