I'm watching a wedding on tiktok live right now. The best wedding song is Take Me Home Country Roads. The worst wedding song is the Cha Cha Slide/Cupid Shuffle.
Yes, Sting has talked about couples telling him that Every Breath You Take was their wedding song, and he's appalled.Worst ones.
Every breath you take.
The one I love.
I will always love you.

So at the wedding I watched last night, they played the cha cha slide and this one dude was getting so into it he started moving his arms in a wax on wax off style from the karate kid. What a hoot.
I would also put U2's With or Without You in the same category. Great song, but if you used , did you listen to the lyrics ?Yes, Sting has talked about couples telling him that Every Breath You Take was their wedding song, and he's appalled.
Agree. A lot of my age group used Daddy's Liitle Girl. My Dad didn't care for that song. My Sis and I both used Lulu's To Sir With Love. It's the title song from the Sidney Poitier movie.I instantly go to the father/daughter dance with Butterfly Kisses. That song makes me cringe.
The last wedding I went to was my youngest niece's. Her Dad danced with her to I Loved Her First by Heartland, and we were all crying. To Sir With Love isn't a song that comes immediately to mind for a father/daughter dance, but I like it, yeah. It fits.Agree. A lot of my age group used Daddy's Liitle Girl. That is a great Father/ Daughter song. My Sis and I grew up in the 60s/70s . So not in time for us. We heard some bad Father/Daughter songs at weddings growing up . I rewatched the movie in my early 20s. After hearing the song , I knew that would be the one when the time came. The last wedding I went to was my youngest niece's.
