Boardwalk

Has anyone explored the boardwalk without a park ticket or actually staying at the resort? Is it worth the trip for a local, and where did you park?

Right now with the Covid-19 closings and reduced services still lingering around. The ESPN Zone and Flying Fish are still closed and there is limited guest traffic . Also not enough open to justify more than about 15- 20 minutes. Parking is limited and your best bet is Uber / Lyft or a Disney bus from Disney Springs.

It is a nice walk around Crescent lake that the BW, Swan & Dolphin, and Yacht and Beach club share. You can also walk to the International Gateway to catch the Disney Skyliner Gondas to connect to the Rivera resort, Caribbean Beach, AoA and also Hollywood Studios. And you can walk or that a Friendship boat back to any of the Crescent Lake resorts.

If you want to ensure local parking for a non-resort guest consider the self-parking lot at the Swan at $29 per day. Note: they don't allow in-out parking privileges unless you are a overnight guest at the Swan.

If the BW resort is not busy then the guard at the gate may allow you to park but don't expect it as it would be an exception.

Careful with the Uber/Lyft as well. Those are also sometimes being turned away at the gates without a dining reservation or resort stay.

We love the Boardwalk but right now not much going on. We would usually have a dining reservation and then walk all around afterward, especially walking across to the Yacht and Beachclubs
