Nashville Superstar Collin Raye Headlines Country Music Fest Labor Day Weekend
TAMPA, Fla. - Quicker than aspiring stars line up for Karaoke contests at Nashville bars, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay transforms into the site for sizzling country bands with its Country Music Fest extravaganza, scheduled Labor Day Weekend (Saturday, Aug. 31; Sunday, Sept. 1 & Monday, Sept. 2). The country music party is free to guests with an annual pass, Fun Card or days admission.
Featuring Collin Raye, owner of 11 recent number-1 hits such as I Can Still Feel You, Country Music Fest will be held at Gwazi Park, a four-acre, 6,000-capacity grass field adjacent to the double wooden Gwazi roller coasters near the parks entrance.
Delicious specialty foods, ice-cold drinks, games, souvenirs and spectacular fireworks displays each night add even more fun to this family-oriented salute to todays hottest genre of music - Country.
In addition to Collin Raye, Country Music Fest includes hot local band Stampede and California-based Bull Durham. Both bands will blitz through song lists of great music each afternoon in Das Festhaus as the African-themed park closes out a successful summer attendance season while igniting an exciting autumn lineup of more special events for guests..
