Busy days at WDW?

When early entry was still available it used to effect which parks were busy on certain days, now it's been stopped are there still days when some parks are busier than others?

The Magic Kingdom is still at it's busiest on Saturdays - it is also the first park most people want to visit on arrival, so as a lot of Americans arrive on Sunday, they will go to MK on Monday.

Apart from that, they all seem to get busy late morning onwards so that arrive early for park opening at each of the parks is a good policy :)

Check out the Busy Days page at the back of Simon V's Brits Guide. We followed it to a tee and found it to be spot on.

I have Simon's book, which was written before Early Entry was scrapped (RIP :( ). I was wondering if the absense of EE had effected the crowds/day in the parks. :)

On one of the other boards someone has been giving us info from the most recent Unofficial Guide which covers lack of EE and post 9/11 stuff - it's just come out in the States but here is what was posted - sorry couldn't remember how to do link:

MK: Sun & Fri are the least crowded in summer and Fri & Wed are the least crowded during the rest of the year.

MGM: Mon & Fri are best during summer. Mon & Tues during off season.

Epcot: Mon, Wed, & Thurs least crowded from Jan-May as well aas in Nov & Dec. During summer, smaller crowds on Sat & Sun. In Sept & Oct, visit on Sat or Sun.

AK: High or low season, Mon, Tues or Sun.

There's a note: If EE is revived, avoid the park running EE during busier times of the year. If you are a Disney resort guest, use it only during less busy times of the year. Avoid Sat. at MK regardless of the time of year

Hope this helps
