I am taking my kids and grandkids on a Disney cruise in March 2015. I will be paying for 7 or 8 staterooms (lucky me). Seems like I should get CC credit for all those rooms. Anyone know the rules?

Each person who cruises (regardless of who pays for it) will be credited one cruise. Making everyone in your party (at least) a Silver Castaway Club member (completed one cruise).

Be sure to ask your TA or DCL about group rates. I believe the discounts and special promotions start at 8 rooms/cabins.

It's just like air travel; the person whose rear is in the seat (or head on the Disney pillow) gets the credit, not the one that pays.

I wish. Our last extended-family DCL cruise had 48 people (I think it was 19 rooms) and no discount.
