Actually, the Tea Ceremony is sort of different, because it is now at Happo-en, where the final dinner was for the first year. So you are touring those *much* smaller gardens, and having the Tea Ceremony there, and the whole tour of the extensive Hamarikyu City Gardens & Tea House is gone. I did love the bonzai trees at Happo-En, but it's not quite the same as Hamarikyu Gardens.
The addition of the Teamlab Borderless digital art museum is a really great add to the last Tokyo day. I did it during the afternoon/evening off on the first Tokyo day, and it is a really *fabulous* experience. I'm allowing myself to think that maybe me doing it and raving about it to others sparked the idea of ABD adding it (although who knows!).
I actually really enjoyed the whole Odawara day, but if they *had* to cut out a day, that would be the one. The logistics weren't great. I'm just wondering if the new route from Takayama straight to Tokyo is more or less mountainous than the route via Odawara. I *hope* it's not *more* mountainous!!
