When we went in 2011 it was really hard to get specific information on special menus available for Christmas Day. I ended up booking us in for a buffet dinner at Storytellers Cafe in the Grand Californian Hotel. Here are a couple of pictures that we took of the setup.
The Gingerbread House at the entrance
The Buffet set up
Not really helpful food porn wise but kinda forgot until on our way out.
I know I started with a nice cocktail.
Had a couple of roast meats including turkey at the carvery.
Could get vegetables, potato, mashed pumpkin, peas, corn.
There was also like a pasta side dish, a mexican rice side dish and a fish option
The dessert options were plentiful.
Not the traditional English Christmas fare that we are used but still everyone came away happy. A little noisy as it was a full house but the ambience was nice.
For lunch we had a chilli bowl from the Golden Horseshoe and hung out at the Pirates Lair. The food is already Christmas themed so there was not an amazing overnight change for the day.
