'cookie' bouquet, cookies?

I just love the sugar cookies that come in the cookie bouquets that you can order and send out....does anyone have a GOOD sugar cookie recipe similar to those? something that can be rolled out and use with cookie cutters....nice big, thick and TASTING sugar cookies! ....and what icing recipe would you use to decorate? I would love to make some Easter cookies with the kids! THANKS!

I made these with my Girl Scout troop several years ago and we simply used the Pillsbury sugar cookie dough and a canned ready made frosting. The key was not to roll the dough out too thin.

Alternately I have seen directions & recipes for this in Martha Stewart's publications so you might check her web site.

I just made easter cookies with the kids, eggs and carrots, too cute! I got the recipe for sugar cookies off of Martha Stewart's website and used her recipe for Royal Icing. The icing hardens and they look fabulous! Have fun!
