Who do you like so far as a presidential candidate?
Kerry, Dean, Lieberman, Gephardt? If the current trend of electing
a governor holds-maybe Dean, eh? So far, I'm not
leaning toward any of them in a major way. Being in
Ohio-an important state- I'm always interested in who's
running because we work so hard here to sway the election.

At this juncture, my vote would go to Lieberman.

He's on Meet the Press today, Sunday!

If anyone wants more Howard Dean information, PM me.

Having grown up in a strong democratic family. You would think I would be democratic. I lean that way, but I would call myself a moderate undeclared.

There are things about each party that totally turns me off. I find myself voting for the candidate and not the party.

Having said that, I find the choice of democrates to be in a sorry state. Of all the choices so far I find Lieberman to be the only one that could get my vote. I find him honest amd sincere, I find him to care about people and care which way our country is headed.

Whether or not he is the right person for the job, I sometimes question, does he have a personality that is strong enough.

I personality think Mr Bush is trying his best to deal with some of the toughest times any president has had to deal with. He has surrounded himself with brilliant people, whom I admire and respect. Whether or not he gets re-elected will depend on how he and his party handles these decisions over the next year and a half.

Right now Mr. Bush would get my vote.

In all these years of voting, I have never once been polled... I wonder who they do poll...Has anyone here been polled for their political opinion.. just curious..

I've been polled in local elections, but never Presidential.

I haven't decided who I might vote for. I need to do some more research before I even would hazard a guess. I do know more about Lieberman, and have liked what I see.

No love for Al Sharpton?

Very funny, Heather! I used to see him all the time on Atlantic Avenue back in Brooklyn, he was HARD to miss!

It's way too early for me to decide, I have to see what these guys have to say and represent. I really like Joe but think he will be hard to elect.

We will see...

Is Sharpton even running as a Democrat? I thought I'd heard that he was running as an independent. Last week, I saw him on Hannity & Colmes and there was a 'D' by his name.

I have seen Howard Dean on Meet the Press a couple of times and like him. However, both John Edwards and/or Bob Graham are the two candidates that Karl Rove is most worried about. Again, Bush can not afford to lose any Southern states. There has been some speculation that a Graham/Edwards ticket would be hard to beat and would be a true nightmare for the Bushies.

I like Lieberman personally but I am not sure that he is electable for several reasons including that he is too conservative to appeal to the Democratic base.

i am currently undecided but am leaning towards edwards b/c i think he has the best chance of getting rid of bush.

Being a independant and having seen all of the democrat choices i would say they are all phonies and as a group are a big joke. Its sad that the one that seems most honest is Sharpton and he comes with his twanna brawley backround so it is a sad group of boring characters who show no ability to utter a truth!!!
And is lierberman is considered to conservative for democrats it shows this is truely the party of socialists!!!

INDEPENDENT???? Bob, Bob, Bob, I don't think so. :p

I just KNEW you couldn't resist a little Democrat bashing... ;)

Disnee Dad Says................................. I'm a little conservative. If anyone would read the second ammendment it is very clear that "under god" does not promote a "specific" religion, as in a government endorsement. Any one with a jr. high education that simply reads it can see that is true. Don't interprt it. On the other hand, the same thing goes for the right to bear arms. Arms, yes, guns, yes, rifles, yes, bazookas, AK47, rocket launchers, NO! It's very simple, you have a right to protect yourself, but no right to start a war!
The reason the "unknown" democrat wins is the only good democrat is an unknown one! Same way the other way!
But I'll take Bush and all his lapses over the previous guy.

Bush may be lame, no arguement here, but Clinton has poisoned the demos for a generation. Sharpton would make a better president than Clinton. Lieberman is your best bet, honest, intelligent, trustworthy, but that stint with Owl Gore really hurt his credibility.
