Anyone have a picture of the WCC Breakfast Skillet? I've never been there and we are considering it for breakfast on our next trip. I've looked at a bunch of pages and I can't seem to find one! :earsboy:

thanks for the steak pic from San Angel. I'll probably get the combo plate. Does ANYTHING on the dinner menu come w/ tortillas? No, i've never had authentic Mexican and i'm not sure if i'll like it! nachos and the dessert bread pudding sound good to me though. I dont know about that steak, what is it swimming in? Did you like it?

Hmmm.. I don't remember any tortillas - maybe cuz Tostitos doesn't make 'em! :rotfl:

The steak was swimming in some sorta mild red sauce called sauce ranchero. I think it's tomato based. The meat is a cut you don't find much in American restaurants that's chewier than you may be used to but REALLY flavorful. We liked it!

Here's what the menu said: Filete Motuleno - Grilled beef tenderloin over black beans and melted cheese, sauce ranchero, poblano pepper strips and fried plantain $26.95

We have a dinner ADR for Kona in a few months (first time) I hope the sushi bar is still there. When you have dinner there, do Kona offers their menu as well as their own??
We have DLXDDP when we go. Does anyone know if the sushi/roll considers as appetizer?
Appreciate any input. Thanks.

It's kinda messy, but we had a really small table, but here's the all you can eat skillet at Whispering Canyon Cafe. (with the kid's mac and cheese in the background)

Briggidge2: In the interest of DISer harmony, would you mind adding a disclaimer above your first photo that says it may disturb some people due to it's half-eaten nature? :flower3: I think that's the compromise that we've come to in the other thread. :hippie: Thanks! And that skillet looks yummy! :) :goodvibes

MadamMim, DO NOT turn this thread into the "half-eaten" thread that is also on the restaurant board. Pleeeeease? :) We DO NOT need bickering and arguing on a highly-popular thread that has been practically in harmony for a long time.

Moderators on the restaurant board, please correct me if I am wrong, but no "agreement" was made and to make a rule like that in a high traffic thread like this is completely uncalled for. Again, please correct me if I am wrong.

Here are some english scones as a way of subtlety:

Good grief!

I have NO PROBLEM with pix of half-eaten food! Please don't speak for the group.

Briggidge2 - Keep the pix coming! BTW - LOVE that cheesecake in France; and your DS is adorable!

This just proves that you can't make everyone happy all the time. I was honestly attempting to help out. I certainly wasn't trying to make a debate or make a rule. I asked, in the most respectful way possible if she wouldn't mind adding a note about the photo. I never asked her to take the photo down or change the way she posts. I happen to like the picture and even made an effort to make sure she knew I did. So I'm really really sorry if my attempt to find a middle ground has upset anyone, since that's exactly what I was trying to avoid in the first place. You have my sincere apologies and if you want I'll delete the other one. Again, I'm really sorry. :guilty:

I think Madam Mim was probably joking, but you are correct, since I read a mods response on that thread, that anyone was welcome to post any pics in any state of being eaten, wether they are untouched, completely eaten, or anything in between.

No harm done! We'll move on now.

Let's sweeten up the mood a bit......................

Anyone, at anytime, can start a "perfect" pictures only Food Porn thread! Plenty of webspace for it.

Man, I haven't been to Goofy's in a long time! I really have to make a point of going in there on our next trip!

Lobster at the AK Rainforest Cafe.

FoodRainforestCafeLobster.jpg

Okay ... I love lobster but something about this picture makes this appear very unappealing. The rice in the middle looks like something awful (took a bit to even realized what it was) and I have never heard of rice served with lobster ????

Sorry if this sounds offensive, just my thoughts. Hopefully it was good.
