Cake Decorating Experience at Amorette’s Patisserie In Disney Springs Returning in November



The Cake Decorating Experience is finally coming BACK to Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs! If you’re unfamiliar with it, this is a special experience that allows you to decorate your own little delicious masterpiece — typically a Mickey Dome Cake (though sometimes another cake is chosen) — under the careful supervision of a chef from Amorette’s!

The experience is set to return in November of 2022, though no exact date was shared with us yet. The exact date will be shared in the future so guests can know when they’ll be able to book online.

In terms of price, the Cake Decorating Experience will set you back $199 per table — each table can have 2 guests (so you and friend/family member could share that cost).

The $199 cost includes all-you-care-to-enjoy beverages plus 1 cake. You can add on an additional cake for $50. It is limited to guests ages 5 and up, so just keep that in mind.

The $199 cost also includes a new exclusive pinonly given to guests who take a class.

He doesn't. According to Len Testa of Touring Plans "There's not a direct relationship between park capacity and the number of park reservations. Disney manipulates the number of reservations to ensure the right number of guests in each park. So even if the MK is below capacity, if the AK demand is too low relative to the labor they're paying for, they'll shut off MK reservations to encourage guests to go to AK (and the other parks)"

Fate of Reedy Creek Improvement District Reportedly to Be Decided Soon, Per Experts

According to a new report by the Orlando Business Journal, the fate of the now-famous Reedy Creek Improvement District is set to be decided sometime soon.

According to OBJ, the specific fate of the special district repealed over six months ago will be decided during a special legislative session following the midterm elections on November 8.

David Ramba, executive director with the Florida Association of Special Districts, told them discussions about the fate of the district are underway in Tallahassee despite both the Reedy Creek staff and the public being in the dark about the issue.

These are the three possible options laid out by Ramba to the Orlando Business Journal:

• The state doesn’t necessarily have to honor the June 2023 dissolution date, as that can be delayed easily with a vote to buy the discussions another year, if need be.
• The state could simply amend certain powers of the Reedy Creek district — such as its ability to build a nuclear power plant — and forgo the dissolution plan.
• Another approach could be lengthy. If the state — or local governments, if the duty was passed to them — tried to change the wording in the district’s charter or completely replace it, that would require a 30-day public notice, discussions and approvals by delegations in the affected counties — Orange and Osceola counties — and other processes needed before a vote were allowed, which could drag out a solution.
