Pulled pork with polenta, mac and cheese bites, pigs in a blanket, and salmon put were served several times. There were always salads like the tomato and mozzarella, loaded baked potato (really good), a Brussels sprouts slaw, things like that. Always cheese, fruit, crackers, bread. Again, all very tasty just kind of repetitive.Great review! Thanks for sharing! Can you please tell us some of the evening hot apps? Thanks!!!

What are the requests that are on the online check-in for the Yacht Club? This trip is just the 2 of us this time, and I'm thinking of requesting a king bed room. Is this something I should request before hand, or is this one of the choices for online check-in? Also, is near an elevator also a choice? How many choices do you get(I haven't been responsible for the bookings for the past 2 years and this year I am).
Thanks!
You would have to call in to have a request for a king bed added to your reservation. It isn't one of the online check in options. You could also request to be close to an elevator when you call in.What are the requests that are on the online check-in for the Yacht Club? If you request a gazebo view then you could have a nice sideways view of the lagoon. And it would put you fairly close to the lobby.Hello, all! I am excited to be staying at YC for the first time in September for Food & Wine! It will be my husband, 3.5 year old son and me. We are in a garden or woods view room. Any tips or suggestions will be appreciated! We are celebrating my husband's graduation and son's first trip.
You'll get varying opinions, but we have never had a problem with the bus from BC to MK and have been doing it a long time now. BC shares a bus with YC, but after that you're on your way to MK once you leave BC. Potential issues, depending on time of day may be a crowded bus from YC so you may have to stand. Similarly, if there is a large crowd at the BC bus stop there may be issues getting on the bus. But there is usually another one not far away. Once you're on the bus it's a 15 - 20 minute ride from BC to MK. We return a bit differently so have little experience on the bus option from MK to BC. We'll take the ferry from MK to TCC and then the monorail from TCC to Epcot and leisurely make our way back to International Gateway and eventually the BC. My advice, is plan accordingly, the bus will take longer than a car in most cases but in my opinion it's not that much. Oh, and you'll love the BC if you elect to stay there and regardless of where you end up, have fun!Hi all,
Please help the uneducated. Planning our first trip to WDW (from Australia!) and feeling slightly overwhelmed!
Love the look of the Beach Club Resort, but had thought it better to stay somewhere a bit more accessible to the Magic Kingdom which I imagine is the park we'll be spending the most time in. How much of a pain is it to get to MK from this resort? Would it be buses? We MAY have a hire car but I have no concept of whether parking at MK is any better than the buses.
Any help appreciated!

Catch the bus from YC it picks up there first, then BC so at least this way you should be able to take a seat and enjoy the ride over. They have been installing overhead monitors in the bus stops recently to inform guests on the schedules for the buses, just remember they organise them from the parks to the resorts and sometimes they can have a bit of a delay. Plan ahead at least allow an hour for getting from a to b and you should be fine. If all else fails there are other options which will still be cheaper than hiring a car and paying for parking which isn't close to the parks anyway you still need to take a tram to the front of the parks.Hi all,

Finally booked our stay - Nov 6-13 at BC. Looking forward to our stay at BC yet again, we are definitely addicted now...
Hi. Not sure if anyone's answered you or not but we were there in September and everything was perfect.
Perhaps we just had an excellent room location at the BC but nothing felt too far for us. Pools, food - nothing felt too far away. DH and I can't wait to return this fall.

My apologies as this question has very likely already been posted and answered on here but I couldn't find anything by perusing some of the pages or conducting a search. I know that check-in at BC is not until 4pm but we are hoping to be able to spend time at SAB earlier in the day. If we check in at the front desk earlier in the day, recognizing that our room won't likely be ready for a while, we will be able to access SAB?
Waitlist just came through and happy to say we are finally trying BC for 3 nights in September. Kids are so happy about the pool. Planning a lot of resort time since we will be moving from 7 days at the poly, we should be ready for a break from parks.
That sounds like fun. We played lots of pub trivia in England, always came in second or third. Missed out on first because I didn't know Donald Ducks middle name.
We are arriving super early - our 5:44am flight should have us at BC around 9am for check-in! I know our room will not be ready - we are used to that - our plans are to get a little snack from the Marketplace and then head to MK for a while! DD6 requested our first ride be Peter Pan's Flight - I love that after so many trips she can just tell us what she really wants to do and make our vacation her own! I am surprised to have gotten DH to agree to the 2 full weeks - but I guess I didn't really give him much of a choice either! LOL!
We've stayed at BC the last two summers, and both times we checked in around 6AM-6:30AM and our room was ready! Actually every time we've stayed deluxe we've checked in super early and had our room ready. Our trip started at 9 nights and I kept adding on and now we're at 13! Ha
