Duration of character meals during the week of Christmas.

We will be at wdw the 25-29th and have character meals booked for each day. When planning other events around it such as fast passes, I am estimating that each meal is going to take 2 hours due to it being so busy. Is this a fair estimate?

I would say that's a safe, conservative estimate.

Yes, I think it's better to veer toward a longer estimate so you have some breathing room if they do actually take that long. Rushing around during that week, given transportation challenges (crowds, traffic, etc.) is next to impossible, so I think you are smart to give yourself more time to do things in general.

Yep, I agree. 2 hours is a safe bet. Setting your expectations for delays and longer waits is very smart. You'll have a great time and avoid frustration.
