We visit The Fort numerous times each year, sometimes on a Premium site and sometimes on a full-hook-up (which in my opinion are great sites and some of the roomiest).
That being said, last week was the first time we requested a change after getting to our assisgned site (it was too short and our back end would have stuuck out over a canal). The cast member on the telephone was wonderful, patiently checking for availability while we checked out her suggestions. Other than that one time we have been happy with the actual campsite! Cast members will go out of their way to see that you are happy as long as you are polite and understanding of the limitations. Don't stress over the actual campsite - as stated, there is no such thing as a bad site.
You can plan on leaving your cart trailer in the front parking lot, or on your actual site if there's room.
FWIW, there used to be an APP with actual videos of every site (great for giving a general idea of location and types), but unfortunately the developer has not updated it to be compatible with new operating systems. You may want to check occasionally to see if it bacomes available again.
Happy Planning!
