**Food Porn** DISNEYLAND!!

Thankfully Disney has gotten better on the healthy foods. Check out this website. On it you can find the menus for all of the restaurants through out the resort. You can go to the Garden Walk for more choices too, its just a ride a way on the ART.

Thanks! That's helpful. :)

I took a few food pictures from our Oct 2012 trip. Enjoy!
Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta
Pepperoni Flat Bread Pizza and Portobello Mushroom and Spinach - good enough
boardwalkpizza.jpg

Cove Bar
Lobster Nachos (we brought in a corn dog for our kids, it's in the background) - it was okay, not enough lobster
covebarlobsternachos.jpg

Flo's Cafe
NY Strip Loin with Beef Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, and Pasta Salad - Yum! I was impressed, a few fatty pieces but fine, pasta salad was good.
flossteak.jpg

Kid's Meal Macaroni & Cheese - they liked it!
floskidsmeal.jpg

Carnation Cafe
Huevos Rancheros - hubby said it was small but okay.
carnationcafehuevosrancheros.jpg

Oscar's Choice: All-American Breakfast - this was fine, chicken sausage was a little sweet, bacon next time.
carnationcafeoscars.jpg

Mickey's Junior Waffle - my kids split this.
carnationcafekidswaffles.jpg

Big Thunder Ranch BBQ Dinner
Chicken, Ribs, Sausage, Cole Slaw, Corn on the Cob, Corn Bread, Beans, - Disappointed, not worth the money. We didn't like the slaw, service was terrible. We won't do this again.

Downtown Disney Tortilla Jo's
Jo's Carnitas - hubby thought this was good.
tortillajoscarnitas.jpg

Fajitas pan-seared shrimp - this was good, nice big well cooked shrimp
tortillajosshrimpfajitas.jpg

Kids had cheese quesadilla and it was fine.

We also ate at the Hungry Bear restaurant. I forgot to take pics. Hubby and I split a burger. It was fine. I didn't know it had sauce on it, so next time I'd order it plain. We got the onion rings too. YUM! Kids got a burger and nuggets. :thumbsup2

popcorn::We had other treats too like mickey mouse ice cream sandwiches, cookies, popcorn, and a dole whip float. All great treats.

I see I forgot to post the food pics I got from our trip back in July! Didn't take nearly as many as I meant to... I planned to take pics of it all but a lot of the time I'd get a few bites in before I remembered! :rotfl:

At Naples in DTD, my boyfriend ordered this - I think it's the Calamaretti pasta although the menu says pasta rings and these are shells, but the rest sounds right. Nice close up of something you couldn't pay me to put in my mouth, but the boyfriend is more adventurous than I.

I ordered the more tame (and delicious) Garganelle pasta, with parmesan cream sauce, peas and chicken. Biiig portions on both of these!

DSCN0274.jpg

I also got myself a strawberry Italian soda.

DSCN0270.jpg

Same day we had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe in DTD.

I got the Shrimp en Brochette with Caribbean rice and fruit on the side instead of veggies. These were AMAZING.... shrimp wrapped in crab meat and bacon. I couldn't get enough. I was exceedingly generous and let my boyfriend have one or two. I should get a Nobel Peace Prize for sharing these things.

BF got something I don't see on the menu anymore, but it was some kind of combo of ribs, steak, popcorn shrimp, fries and coleslaw.

DSCN0297.jpg

Here's a mocha with extra chocolate from the Carnation Cafe, breakfast from our first morning in the parks! I got too far into the rest of the meal before remembering pictures. :rolleyes1 Art direction (read: carnation stuck in the handle of the mug) by my boyfriend.

Here is the boyfriend enjoying a turkey leg. It was HUGE - we tried to share it, and ended up giving a good portion of it to the ducks flocking around us. Bonus picture of said ducks included!

The Cove Bar in DCA was a favourite of ours for drinks and appies, we went there a few times. My boyfriend ordered the Bayside Fish Tacos, and I orderd the Buffalo Wings (which were MASSIVE).

I also ordered a drink called the Sideshow Novel-Tea which was DELICIOUS. Maybe not your thing if you don't like tea, but if you do, you'll love this. It has Absolut Wild Tea vodka, iced tea, strawberry puree and fresh lemon juice. DELISH. I may try making this at home although I've never seen that vodka in a store before, but maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

DSCN0817.jpg

We had breakfast at Flo's V8 Cafe, boyfriend ordered the Chicken Tamale Breakfast. He wasn't crazy about it.

DSCN0971.jpg

I got the Brioche French Toast, and I was in love! You need a sweet tooth for this one though - french toast with salted caramel sauce and bananas. Yummm!

DSCN0972.jpg

Lemon Bumblebee Cupcake from the Hungry Bear - perfect cupcake, not too sweet, nice light lemony flavour!

DSCN1400.jpg

Carthay Circle time! We loved it here - gorgeous atmosphere, service was great, excellent food. Here's a shot of the Signature Firecracker Duck Wings. I'm not a fan of duck (too greasy) but even I liked these!

DSCN1531.jpg

Aaand the 8oz Angus Burger! Also very good! :)

DSCN1532.jpg

That's all the pictures I got of food, wish I had remembered to take more! Oh well, next time! :D

Let's see what I have.

I need to remember to take more food pictures!!

I just ate about an hour ago and this thread is making me unbelievably hungry somehow. I haven't been to Disneyland in a few years, and last I went I was still a college student (which means BROKE). Next time I go, I'll do the whole thing and eat until I have to roll around Disneyland.

Chicken and waffles from Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney.
Pssst---they also have a Bloody Mary bar where you can choose your garnishes and flavors. Amazing!
