Happy New Year to you too!
Happy New Year to you.
Happy New Year! I hope it is a happy and healthy year for you and yours.
Happy Hogmanay! From a fellow Scot
I discovered your TR yesterday and had caught up by teatime! I haven’t been so into a TR since I quietly used to lurk on pkondz trip reports. I got addicted to those.
What a lovely writing style you have, I am really loving your report! I love how you have then and now photos of your children that’s so lovely.
How exciting that you got to be grand marshals! That is really magical!
I head back to WDW this October as I also work in education and have to stick to school holidays and I can’t wait.
I love Alfie, I just knew as I was reading he had found his forever home.
Thanks Sarah - great to welcome a fellow Scot. We had a quiet Hogmanay - what about you?
We had a lovely Hogmanay in Pitlochry, my auntie stays there so we are very lucky to get to spend so much time up there.
I'm so pleased you have joined in. I'm glad you are enjoying it. I hope you have come out of lurkdom on pkondz's report - he will make you very welcome.
I think I commented once many moons ago, but still shy. Will have to try better
Thanks - that's kind of you to say so! I think holidays are one of the few times I now get photos of the children - it is lovely to look back a few years.
The only photo I found that I could try and recreate a few years ago was a mini me sitting on Minnie’s at her now departed home in Toontown. It was not the most flattering photo comparison, the thunder thighs were not appealing compared to ten year old me’s matchsticks
It was truly magical!
That's fantastic news! Do you get 2 weeks in October? There is so much to plan - how are the plans going?
Yes we do, which is super fortunate. Days are planned, the dates when ADRs and FP+ becomes available are in the diary. People think I am mad for planning already haha.
He is adorable - he just loves being petted. How could we let him go and live with anyone else when he'd already found his home?
Mine was not the best representative car either as you'll see on my update.... those suckers are hard to get just right!Thank you! I did spoil it by choosing a Hybrid engine. It always guilts me into trying to be a bit eco-conscious or maybe that was a concession to Hannah. Yip a Hybrid engine will definitely compensate for the huge wheels!
Exactly, we have a new puppy after our beautiful border collie of 14 years passed away in sept. A home is not the same with out a furry four legged friend
Happy New Year, a little late! Best wishes to you and your family!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas!
It's time for me to get this trip report back on track and back to Disney.
We had breakfast on the balcony.
We decided to go in the standby line rather than Single Rider so we could design our cars.
The boys beat us on this occasion although not by much.
We commented on what a difference a year makes. Last year we waited in a queue of over 2 hours to see Baymax.
Hi Megan! I've enjoyed seeing your photos on Instagram. It looked like it got very cold. It's going to be a busy year - We were back to school on Thursday. Hannah has her 'Prelim exams' over the next 2 weeks which are basically practice exams prior to the real ones in May. She has been studying hard over the holidays. Wishing you and Nathan a good 2018.
Mine was not the best representative car either as you'll see on my update.... those suckers are hard to get just right!
I'm sure your car was fabulous. Maybe the world is just not ready for the innovation of your car design.
We had a nice Christmas. I really need to find the time to work on our report.
Looks nice, especially the fruit.
We waited about 35 minutes in 2015 to see Baymax. Love him.
That almost looks like a Canadian winter! It's certainly more snow than I would have expected for Scotland. When I lived in Aberdeen for a year, there was just a dusting of snow a couple days and that was all.We certainly had a lot more snow this year. We even had snow days at school which is unheard of for us.
