Today I did something a tad impulsive and booked the Jingle Bell Jingle Bam dessert party.
I had originally talked myself out of it - arguing that it was too expensive for desserts. And while I still think it is too expensive, Disney does such a good job of tempting customers with these extra events and I was eventually won over.
I kept flipping between this,
MVMCP (even more expensive and potentially very crowded), the Frozen dessert party (not a fan of Frozen, but really wanted a table for Illuminations) and the Star Wars day tour (it doesn’t really appeal to me, but DH and DS would love it).
Sick of overthinking everything, I just threw in the towel today and booked JBJB. I swapped my Epcot and HS days around, and changed my Minnie’s Holiday Dine dinner reservation to a 50s Primetime lunch (to claw back a few dollars and because I figure that there are too many similarities between the Minnie buffet and JBJB to need to do both).
I feel a tad nervous I made the wrong decision, but I’m also excited.
In other news, I applied for our ESTA this morning and was surprised by how long the process took for the 3 of us. I don’t remember it being that long.
Either way, it’s currently still pending, but I can’t foresee any potential issues. Just incase though, I always apply at least a few months in advance so I have time to sort things out should I need it.
Just over 3 months to go!!
