We'll be a party of 9 for most of our table service meals. Since the beginning of my vacation will be the end of other families' vacations for those booking at the 180+10 ADR window, should I go ahead and plan on booking locations like CRT and BOG later in my vacation week to increase availability?

What are your strategies at 180 days at 6am?

There is always a better chance at getting what you want later into your trip when you're competing with less people. I would start with your last day and work backwards. If you're able to get something hard to get on one of your early days that's great, but it won't be as stressful knowing you already have it later into your trip.

Another strategy is to put all your choices into your favorites beforehand. This will save you from having to search for them. I always start with my most desired reservations first, because you may have to move things around. And your thought of bog ressie at the end of your trip is a wise one. Good Luck!

I guess I could always make a late-in-the-week BOG ADR first, then try to make another BOG ADR earlier in the week, on our first MK day, and then cancel the late week if successful?

Yes, you can cancel up until the day before without penalty.

Definitely agree with booking BOG (especially dinner) toward the end of the trip! Also, since you have 9 people, I'd also try searching for ADRs for 10 if you have any trouble. I just booked our ADRs for late January last week, and had trouble finding ADRs for 5 but no problem finding them for 6 people. It was easy to modify the number of people down to 5 after I had the reservation.
