[Ali and boyz]

anybody got any insurance info re the folllowing

my parents are 73 and 75 and both have medical issues. Mum had a heart attack back in 1989 and took a stoke last July. Dad had a heart attack back in 1996 and by-pass in 1996 and has just been diagnoised with prostate cancer but both have had the all clear to go to florida. they have tired a few insurance companies and the will insure them but not for their pre-existing medical problems. obvousley they couldn't go withit cover for their problems.

Does anybody have any experience of this or know of any companies that will insure them. they have been numerous times over the years to so finding this strange. there must be people the same as or worse that fly and get cover but they are not starting to get upset that they won't get.

Have you tried Norwich Union? My parents (with some similar PEMCs) have travel insurance with them.
Also try Saga, and 2 companies which specialise in travellers with PEMCs one called Free Spirit the other is All Clear.
A broker may be able to find you a better deal so could be worth trying that too.

Hope they can get something sorted, it is too risky to travel without good cover.

Thanks Loadsapixiedust tried Saga and Norwich Union and they will ensure them but not for any pre-medical problems. Johnny has recommended Free Spirit and All Clear so will give them a try.
