Holiday Inn International Drive

Booked a vacation package through Universal Studios at this hotel. Hotel is 6515 International Drive.

Has anyone stayed there? How close to Universal? Is it clean?

I stayed there in September 1999. Got it on Expedia for $25 a night.

It is a nice hotel but not fancy in the least. When I was there it was very crowded until the day of check out. It was over the Memorial Day weekend. The pool is isolated and very small. We couldn't even find a place to sit!

The rooms have a microwave and a small fridge, which I found handy. We sent food ahead from Netgrocer which was waiting for us at the front desk.

Make sure you get their Priority Club card at http://www.sixcontinentshotels.com/holiday-inn. When we went it got us late check out, free coins for the game room and discounts at the restaurants in the lobby. It's free and well worth it.
