Hopp Dee Doo Help needed

We decided at last minute to try to get Hoop PS's for any night, 5 or 7:15 show, Oct. 6 - 10th but it is booked. Should I keep trying? Do people cancel? Should we try once we get there?
We are a party of four and a party of three. Any suggestions?

I can only say, keep trying, even up to the last day. Works with so many things at Disney. And good luck.

Yes keep calling. They have to cancel two days before to get their money back and people will hold the ressie until the last minute and then cancel, so something might open.

Try for the 9:30 show.
When we were there lat week the whole upper level was empty.

Yes, people cancel. We had a trip scheduled this past May and had to cancel everything the night before our flight. We had a family emergency. Both the airlines and Disney were wonderful about refunding our entire amounts and no fees. We usually opt for the 9:30 PM show when we do HDD. We did it in May (our rescheduled trip) and there were only 15 tables occupied, we had the server to ourselves and the performers seemed to have fun with the smaller group.
