Thanks mechurchlady. When my hubby looked up the distances he got closer to what marvel found, so I'm not sure why there is such a big difference, using the same program. Oh well... it's still a L-O-N-G way.
Thanks for the directions, but I think I'll stick with flying the WHOLE way. I'm not sure my kayaking skills are quite up to such a long paddle. Mind you, I'd wear off a LOT of Tigger Tails if I paddled that distance huh?
Apparently the regular google maps uses driving instructions so you have to find a place to take your kayak into the water and that is why it is a trip up the coast to Seattle then out the sound then down to Hawaii but no explanation why they could not go viz north Australia and skip Japan. Also I tried Hawaii as a layover and it said no way, lol.
that is what you get when you try to drive on water. I have had too many spin outs while trying to drive on water and even damaged an axle once.
