Someone posted a thread like this a few years back and I found it very interesting and informative. I haven't seen one for this year yet and thought it would be fun. Mostly I'd like to keep it Disney world related (resort and time of year traveling with any special offers/memory maker/dining plan...and that sort of stuff). You could also throw in travel expenses at the end if you choose. I'll start......

8/18 to 8/25
2 adults 2 kids
Beach Club GV room with free dining BB
with MM
$5612.11

Flights from BFO $372 RT for all after using points

4 Halloween party tix $392

** considering upgrading to a 1 Bdrm club level for $2500 more**

2A2C, 5/13 staying at Hyatt because our flight lands at 12:30AM on 5/14 - $0 - used points
5/14-/5/19 - CSR Standard room- 1,032.00 - but I used Chase UR points - $0 out of pocket
4 SW RT Tickets - points + $45.00
4 - 5 Day Military Salute Park Hoppers $990
EMM $273.00
Military Memory Maker $98
We have $700 in Disney gift cards that have cost us $650.

$2,056.00

We just booked. Trying to do a budget trip. I leave for Jamaica next weekend. Plus we are doing a two room Cabo trip in September. So just younger dd, Me and my mom going.
POP century with FQSDP
8/26 to 9/1
4 days with hopper
2350.00
Air was free my mom was paying the air I paid for the trip.

7 nights POR in a standard room for 2 adults, 3 children May 27 - June 3
4 day park ticket plus 1 water park day
standard dining plan
$4,516 total package cost

flights for 5 from O'Hare on Spirit air
$682.90 plus baggage fees. (Trying to pack as light as possible!)

We are going in October - me, DH, and DS (2), driving from central IL

5 nights @ Poly (standard room) - $2151.55 ($430.31 per night)
5 day tickets, no add-ons - $737.90 ($368.95 per ticket)
We booked EMM, so that’s another $146.98 ($73.49 per person)
Rooms for the way down & back - $242 total

We don’t really have a food budget and I’ve booked some ADRs. I’m also planning to order a birthday cake for my son.

February trip was about $4500-5000 all told for 7 nights (including food and flights) split stay at WL & POR. WL was DVC points; the cost was shared with other family members. POR was booked through a TA. We got a great deal on flights.

July trip is 4 nights at Poly with 3 day park hoppers for 3 = $2545 booked through a TA. Flights will be about $600. About double what we paid in February which is a bummer. We originally had the DDP but I can no longer drink so budgeting about $1000 for food, drinks, souvenirs. So roughly $4000.

We had a huge tax return this year which covered both thankfully!

6 night AKL Jambo House (standard room)+ 6 Day Park Hopper Plus tix(2 adults)=$3000
Airfare for 2 to Tampa(visiting family for a few days first)=$250
Airfare for 2 back to Albany from Orlando (Leaving the kids in FL with family)=$300
$150 Frozen Ever After Dessert Party for 2
$500/10 day car rental
$1000 Disney gift card for food

Total $5200:eek:

Now I wish I didn't participate in this thread :rotfl:

***Yes we have to retrieve the kids at the end of the summer. That will be a quick road trip and has nothing to do with Disney so I didn't include that.

I’m envious of your “cheap trips”, haha. We are going this September. For 2 adults, 4 kids over 7 nights, it will be over $6400. That includes 5-day Park hoppers, and regular dining plan (free dining). We are staying in a family suite at AOA, at least for now. Also, we are thinking about doing the MNSSHP, so add another $400 something to that.

November 2018
POFQ 2 nights with 8 day PH tickets (1 adult, 1 Disney adult)- $1309
BWV studio 7 nights rented points - $1326
Dessert party - $140
HDDR - $144
MVMCP - $210
Flights - ??? Hoping $700 RT (Jersey Week flights are crazy expensive!!)
Food/Miscellaneous - $1000

Total - $4800 (OUCH!!!)

I won't even include the ears, clothes and extra stuff we buy before we go!

Late May. 7N/7D BWI. 5 park hoppers plus.
Package: about 5500.
Food: about 2600 (no dining plan) for 2 adults 3 teenagers.
Driving.
Universal trip after but will leave that part out.

We drive and will be there from June 3rd to June 13th. Two standard view rooms at Animal Kingdom Lodge Just a hair under $16,000 dollars for 6 adults and 2 children. Add another $800 for two days at Daytona Beach June 1st and June 2nd. And about $1600 for the girls souvenir money (Mine comes from my Disney Card I pay for everything possible at home on that card). I almost cry when I look at these totals but I justify by this. I do not go in debt for any of it I save the money which is why we only go every 3-4 yers.

I have 2 trips booked, but will only be going on one. I booked Pop as my 2nd choice when free Dining opened up for 12/15-12/22.

Then a few days later a preferred room at ASMu opened up for our preferred dates. However, I am very concerned about the cost of airfare around Thanksgiving, so we might end of going with our 2nd choice after all (the prices were very similar).

First choice:
ASMu preferred room with free QSDP 8 nights 11/24-12/2: $2968

Pop Century standard room with free QSDP 7 nights 12/15-12/22: $2993

9/1-9/8 at Contemporary --$2102.66
Already have APs
Southwest RT flights --$376.74 (used points one way)
Using Disney Visa rewards for food costs
Extras (dessert parties/EMM)-- $600.00 (?)
Cat sitting --$120.00
Airport parking -- $120.00

We don't set a shopping budget, as we don't really buy a ton of stuff.

9/13 to 9/20 - French Quarter River View- solo trip - $1,892.
JetBlue with seat upgrades - $440.
First time using AP but if my plans for the year work out - $187 ($26/day)
Estimating from last years solo trip food/drink - $400
Don't usually buy much on solo trips - $75
$3,000

Myself, my sister, staying at Coronado springs for a week, 5 day base ticket, no park hopper with dining plan, $3600.

$1656 for 9 nights at Board Walk on rented DVC points
$611 RT Southwest for 2 from PHL
$137 for Sheraton 4 points Sleep Park n Fly
$904.18 - 1/2 of our APs for 2
$345.11 for Mid Size Dollar Rental

We'll probably blow $750 to $1000 on the Food&Wine kiosks. We're taking some adult beverages down in checked luggage and a Publix grocery stop will probably approach $100.
