I'd be curious to know this with IHG also.Has anyone had any luck getting asking for an extension on a FNC from Hilton? Just realized DH has one expiring and we have no time to use it.

If the card is closed and a statement isn’t generated the points wouldn’t postJust fell back under 5/24 a few days ago. Started card one of my SW companion pass- approved today for the SW Perf Biz.
Q: Plan to close P2's SW card 30 days after AF posts, so around 1/11. I don't plan to app for my second biz card until 2/1. If P2 generates a support link and I use it, but their card is closed, will those support points post? I just realized this is the $99 card, so probably worth it to keep it open just for support points.
I found this in an article - super glad I got my VX earlier this year!
Capital One says that The Eras Tour presale is open to all eligible U.S. Capital One Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cardholders. That means if you have a card like the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, among many others, you are set.
A Capital One spokesperson says that even those with co-branded credit cards like The Capital One Walmart Rewards Card are eligible. The only cards that don't make the cut are private label cards that are issued through Capital One such as The Neiman Credit Card and others that aren't explicitly co-branded by Capital One.
Thanks for the info!Taylor Swift ticket info:
In 2019 Capital One launched a partnership with Swift to promote their dining-focused Savor card. And now Capital One is sponsoring Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour. That will give Capital One cardmembers access to premium presale tickets starting November 15 at 2 p.m. (local venue time) through November 17 at 10 p.m. local venue time (hah, no way these last more than two days). That’s before tickets go on sale to the general public.
- Go to www.taylorswift.com/events on November 15
- Use the first 6 digits of any Capital One card number as the promo code for presale access
- Pay with a Capital One card
Thank you!!!! This was very helpful info. I can stop worrying about it now.I am just a lurker but I have always booked my UO tickets through UT. You will get an email/text with the ticket barcode, I recommend screenshooting and saving in your photos (I "favorite" the photo in my iPhone for easy access). They can scan directly from your phone at the gate like a regular direct ticket, no need to go to a window. I usually print a copy and put in my bag just in case. Make sure you have it handy if you ride the Hogwarts Express as they scan it again there.
Sometimes the lockers require a ticket to scan so a paper copy can be handy as you can leave that in your pocket but might need to put the phone in the locker on a few of the big rides. Some people scan their drivers license and that works but I think only certain states will scan, mine doesn't. I believe team members also have little slips with a barcode you can use to scan instead of using your ticket. 50% of the time my locker never opens and I need them to open it for me anyways.
When I got my Venture X back in July(ish?) I immediately got a virtual card number upon approval. So I think you should be good. Thanks for the info!
I don't have any Capital One cards. Do you think if I applied today that I could get it in time?
That doesn't always seem to happen. It didn't happen on my Venture X or P2's, but it did happen on my venture one. It did not happen on my dd's venture either. When I got my Venture X back in July(ish?) I immediately got a virtual card number upon approval. So I think you should be good.
Our Hyatt point advanced reservation is later this month, I’m going to transfer the rest of the points needed after my Hyatt points post this week. At what point do they apply the points? Do I need to message Hyatt or will it happen automatically?

That’s a bummer! I wasn’t a C1 cardholder before I got the VX, but maybe bc I have their savings account for 10+ years with my emergency fund in there. Weird.Unfortunately since I am not a current C1 cardholder they can't expedite it. The rep said it had something to do with needing to send all the details (TOS, etc). So I'm crossing my fingers it's here before the 15th.
Ahhhh Capital One....In my experience it’s either almost immediately (2-3 biz days) or 2-3 billing cycles. No rhyme or reason in which that I’ve figured out.
You can lower CL or transfer credit between accounts by SM. No need to call. After paying about $2k in bills today. I definitely need a new MSR (or 2) to be working on. I can lower CL by SM, I have to call to cancel, right?
I was told the points must be there 7 days before the trip, and that they would automatically pull them from our account. Because I worry something will go wrong, I have called and told them to add the points in. Hyatt takes the points immediately (but can see where they are so it's still possible to cancel a reservation and put the points back). I have a bunch of upcoming (possible) Hyatt stays booked, but the account makes it look like we don't have a lot of points since they have been attached to those future stays. Hope that makes sense. Our Hyatt point advanced reservation is later this month, I’m going to transfer the rest of the points needed after my Hyatt points post this week. If I recall correctly, gift cards are only in-store for AmEx offers because CashStar (or something) processes online gift card orders.i didn't know they sold gift cards
BestBuy is bad about honoring stuff like trade-ins and upgrades. they also used to have a great return policy on everything its been nerfed a lot of things are now 14 days.
A good example I upgraded my phone from google and got 500$ my friend tried to trade in the same phone for 550 BestBuy would rather cancel his trade-in (because they won't appraise it right not even what they quoted) and he also isn't getting the 200$ gift card. I thought this was a one-off but it's all over Reddit and tech blogs also. This is just the latest example I could think of. Also for years, they wouldn't match amazon at all. They used to have a decent rewards program too where if you spent 1k a year or 2k a year you would get a nice rebate they killed that off also. I can get 3% or even 10% from google or other companies and I think BestBuy is .5% (i don't know this figure for sure but I remember it getting dramatically slashed). With a shorter return policy and less of a rebate, i look elsewhere almost always.
Forgot to add the rebate now is 0.5% I want to say before if you spent 2k a year it was over 2% longer return policy free shipping on anything etc.
I know our girls are excited about the tour, but we don't have any Capital One cards. I booked a few hotels close to venues since I don't know where we will go for the tour. Last time we went to Atlanta and Nashville, but they are on back-to-back weekends this time. Used an Amex Free Night for the Hilton Nashville since it was 70K or $700. Definitely will make for a nice Christmas gift!I found this in an article - super glad I got my VX earlier this year!

I wouldn't give up on getting the DVC nights. We decided to go the first week of January and I was finally able to get all 5 nights in the same room type at Kidani. I was able to get 3 nights and then waitlisted the other two nights one at a time. I tend to find more availability on the weekends. Good luck!I'm planning a short notice Disney trip for February, cheerleading weekend, for 2. My friend is covering flights and I'm covering the room. There isn't much DVC availability. I have Kidani for 1 of 4 nights and I have waitlisted the other 3 as well as all 4 at Boardwalk. I'm checking obsessively, but I'm unsure of my likelihood of getting anything for all 4 nights. I'd prefer not to switch resorts, but willing to switch once if needed. I'm trying to use fewer points (banking for family vacation next year) and keeping transportation in mind. I'm not much a fan of AKV, OKW and SS unless I have a car, but I probably need to let up on that. Suggestions?
So, I need to book a backup. I have a FNC for IHG and one for Bonvoy (35K), but not enough points in either to cover the other 3 nights. I do have UR to transfer or use. I have quite a few HH.
What would you do in this situation?
Also, we are hoping to avoid a rental car, which I think we can do since it's just the two of us. We can use Uber and Disney transport. We do need to get to WWoS on one of the days for competition, are there busses that go out there or should I definitely plan Uber for that?
I'm usually planning for at least a party of 4 and way more than 3 months out. At least we've both been there and don't feel the need to get everything in. She's never stayed on property so if I can swing it, it'd be a great experience for her.
