Have fun at Hilton Head. We went once. Watched a lot of movies and didn't do much really.
Nice resort though.

We really enjoy the seafood, in HHI, plus we rent bikes, they have adult tricycles for me! I enjoy riding around the area.

DH is on his way to sell a lot of our books. 12 boxes of them.
We'll see how many they take, the rest will go to Goodwill

I’m looking forward to seeing Katie on Sunday - she has a couple home games for us to freeze while we’re watching (gotta love cold/damp Spring sports). Hard to believe she’ll be home in a month - this semester flew by.

I’m going to really enjoy this summer with her, because I think it’s the last summer that she’ll be home the entire summer (sad to think about). Her and her BF are getting an apartment this year and next summer she’ll be graduated from this school, probably have a job where she’ll be living and then preparing for grad school. We’ll really be empty nesters then. Time for my DH and I to start planning some fun stuff to do with just the two us

We're flying home today. Nice vacation but we're ready to go home even to 90 degree weather....and going up

Well, we are getting new windows after a few leaks were found.....so also decided to add solar panels at the same time.
Happens in 3 weeks. We have to take all the blinds and curtains down, all the things off the window sills and all the furniture away from the windows (just a few feet). We have a lot of windows, so going to be a lot of work

Sounds like a lot of work, but you have to fix the leaks! Good luck!

no fixing leaks. New windows will fix them.
Good windows, should also help keep the house cooler.

We have 24 windows, so we'll start taking the blinds down soon.

Still working on cleaning our kitchen cupboards and drawers.

Today is for packing and house things! Our DS & DDiL will be in our house before we will be home…getting everything ready today!

I will finish the kitchen cleaning....just one cupboard and the pantry to do.
Then off to clean off all window sills.

Our "adoptive" DD leaves today to go back to New Orleans. She stayed at DS's house, but was over here every day to swim for therapy for her arm.

She is DS and DIL's good friend. She used to live with them when she first moved here about 15 years ago. She is DGD's god mother.
She was always a part of our celebrations until she moved. She still comes back every 3-4 months. Lots of friends here.
